Week 3
[Four people dead now - six, if you include the crew. Things have been a little rough on the Starfield Penitentiary this week. Blaze Dudely doesn't make a public reappearance during the weekend, so you've got a few days to yourselves to recover, though he's probably still sticking to his office hours if you really feel like going to see him. On Sunday morning, you may find that you're recovering a a few other things as well - both strange dreams and some new items.
In addition, there's a new set of doors at the end of the corridor, by that empty space where you'd been having your fight club. Looks like you've got a new wing to explore.]

"Ever since that battle, my subordinates and I have roamed the earth like ghosts, searching for a place worth dying in! You are our only hope! Shoot!"
...
"Someone once told me, ‘Writing novels is about writing people.’ ...To take someone’s life is to be unable to write people’s lives, so I won’t kill people ever again."
What a bizarre dream. Oda rubs his head a few times before he gets up to start his day.
Another pile of things is at his door, and the first order of business is to bring them inside and sort through them. The second order of business is to find Max, wherever she is, because he has a camera bag and Polaroid camera that he thinks she'd very much like to have.
After that, he sets up the rest of the items he doesn't plan to keep in the mess hall, along with the same 'take whatever you want' sign. While he's there, he'll first be eating breakfast and then reading 'Mystery Doors of the Magical Land'. The translation is poor, but the story itself isn't bad...?
Of course, he'd be remiss in not exploring the other wing that's been opened to them. He doesn't stay in the room of fire for more than a second - he's more preoccupied with the infirmary, checking to see what they do and don't have medicine-wise.
He spends a goodly amount of time in the exercise yard, tossing his new basketball into the hoop and trying to figure out how it makes confetti every single time he gets it in.]

Rideaux makes a beeline for Oda's table, because obviously someone else wanting to take that boa is something he has to worry about. ]
Good morning.
[ Obligatory insincere smile. ]
I think you may have been given one of my belongings in error.
[ Wait, are those his knives too? What the hell. ]

Now she only needed to find a way to make that work here so she could control her, survive and check on Master Byakuya.]
Why... why am I remembering all this now...?
[Checking out the new areas Fukawa doesn't seem to have much interest in any of the rooms, though she stops in each. It looks like she has something in mind on her search.]
Something that can generate an electrical charge...
[...w e l p. If you're exploring you might hear her mumbling that to herself.
Also she might approach some of the stronger individuals if she can catch them-- Pyrrha, Apollo, Akande, Soma... although she seems anxious.]
Y-you'll probably say no but... I want to learn to fight. I want to be stronger...

[He actually slept pretty well, for once. There was still no recollection of being forced into this situation before. Far from it. He remembered he'd been in the school for at least a year with no death or despair. He even got to see his cousin, Kanon, during the holiday break! It was so bittersweet, and yet...]
[Glancing at the picture on his wall, he nearly forgot the thing Touko said about memory wiping...]
[Ah well, Leon's got more stuff. He's really into the neat spike bracelet that came with some of this other junk, so he's gonna go ahead and wear it on the wrist that doesn't have a PIP stuck to it. Hopefully Max won't mind? He doesn't seem to realize it's hers, anyway.]
[There's also this weird replica sword. Maybe he'll leave it in Cell 10 for later. The rest of the stuff he doesn't want is being taken to the Mess Hall for trading.]
[When he hears there's an exercise yard, he's kind of excited! Like, there's baseball equipment and everything! He's just hoping nobody sees him actually going over the bats, balls, and mitts... Even though he kept saying he was over baseball.]

Okay. Um. She's gonna... pick up the stuff outside her room... and go to make breakfast in the kitchen... or at least, try to. She's actually a little distracted, but not by that weirdo dream that she doesn't really want to think about. Even if... this is a Nohrian cookbook.
...
YEAH. LET'S NOT THINK ABOUT THAT. She's actually looking over what seems to be a cookbook while going through the kitchen and trying to see if she can find... something? Just about anything, really, because there's a lot of rare stuff in here and she's not sure if she can make any substitutions.
Anyway, after whatever she finds in the kitchen, she does find herself wandering over to the new wing... and holy crap, there's an outside? Dang! Of course, the exercise yard is... maybe a little disappointing as there are no plants involved, but she does kind of find herself staring at the... sky? The... inky blackness of space. She doesn't recognize any constellations or anything, which just... really drives home how bizarrely foreign this all is.]

After a few moments of silent thought, he gets up and walks to the bathroom, stopping in front of the sink to get a look at his reflection in the mirror. Pushing his bangs up on the right side, he leans in to get a closer look at his hairline, and frowns. If he's actually used his chromatus more times than he previously recalled, then...
His morning picks up a little once he finally finds some items for him outside his door, though -- including both the liquor and playing cards he'd been talking about last week (double score), and his company emblem, which he promptly secures to his jumpsuit where his breast pocket would normally be if he were wearing something less atrocious. And it picks up further when he finds a few more of his things up for the taking in the mess hall. He'd rather have his suit jacket or a dress shirt or some other piece of actual clothing, but if all he's got is a feather boa, he'll work with it.
So, if you come to explore the newly accessible infirmary today, you may find him there, taking a look at the inventory, and maybe moving a few things around to be more to his taste (because let's be real, this is basically going to be His Place).
With a black feather boa draped over his shoulders in his orange jumpsuit. It sure got Halloween in here all of a sudden. ]

She reaches her right hand up towards the ceiling, concentrating like she had in the dream.
Nothing.
Guess it was just a dream after all.
She has a pile of stuff, though, and today it seems she's been given back her iPod and she's been given... a change of clothes? Wait, she's... she saw these in Chloe's closet, she's pretty sure, when she was hiding in there. Regardless they fit her, so today she's traded her jumpsuit in for a more... cool(??) ensemble. The outfit feels very Chloe.
She eventually does leave her cell, though and first takes to exploring the new wing! Well... exploring implies she doesn't immediately hit up the arts and crafts room and set to making... something! It looks like she's kind of roughly binding together a book? Very grade school.
Later she can be found in Cell 1 going through her pile of things - so if you want to barter or reclaim a donut hoodie, this is the prompt for you!
And even later still, before nighttime, she's in the exercise yard near one of the corners not really exercising? Just staying out of the way and listening to music while she sits back to look up at the stars beyond the dome. She's quietly singing something to herself, presumably along to the music she's listening to. Every once in a while she kind of returns to the ground for a little while to hold her right arm out, almost as though trying to grab at the stars, before sighing and shaking her head. ]

"I would love to dance - whoa!"
"Ren. This... is... happening!"
For twice in the might, Pyrrha wakes up and... she almost feels like she's home again. What a strange dream. Happy, though.
Pyrrha starts on her way towards the kitchen for Breakfast... only to stumble on the new pile of things for her in the hallway. She doesn't stay there long, though she is focused rather firmly on the toy crossbow. (the less said about the body pillow, the better) She looks it over, it's definitely a toy, but why would she get this?
And why does she want to name it Bianca?
After that, plus breakfast, she heads down to the library for the sake of looking through the history section one more time. something seems to have struck her, because she's noticeably quickly scanning through some of the books and politely setting them aside for the next one.]
Where is it... I know it was... no, that's not it.
[Later on, as she moves to check out the end of the hallway, Pyrrha discovers that it... doesn't end there anymore. No, it keeps going, and she keeps going, until she reaches the exercise yard.
She's... frankly, awestruck. If you're passing through here, it's very likely you'll catch Pyrrha just staring up at the glass dome that made up the ceiling in this section, watching the stars slowly drift by. She's gone right up to the glass too, to watch it all.]

When does actually head out of his cell, he's carrying a very elegant looking prom dress over one shoulder as he considers where would be best to leave it so that the owner can collect it. Who here would be the most likely to own a red prom dress?.
He's also carrying a pack of Bearies in his other hand, and apparently on the look out for someone. Someone who really helped them out with her photographs of the crime scene yesterday. Once he's done with that errand, he can be found wandering around the newly opened area, exploring the different rooms and familiarising himself with the changes.]

It takes a while to track down a kettle and tea strainer, now that there's no cook to show her around the kitchen, but when CT curls up in the library with a fresh pot of tea and her new book, it's all worth it. She closes her eyes and takes a long sniff of the steam wafting up, then gets settled in, careful not to spill a drop on the pages of The Tale of the Champion.
The author's name on the front cover makes her raise her eyebrows in mild surprise. So he'd been telling the truth about writing down their story, after all.
The book can only hold her attention for so long, though, and there's more to do. Checking out the new wing of the ship is first on the list. There's not much to hold her interest in the arts and crafts room, but she can be found examining every inch of the Room of Fire and the Infirmary, searching for anything useful or any clue about what they're really doing here. There has to be a reason for that deathtrap of an incinerator room. Or are they just trying to make it easier for the next killer to cover their tracks? ]

"That son of a bitch..."
"What're you after, following me around all this time? It's all YOUR fault--"
Ardyn's there, and all Noctis feels is pain. It's like his heart's been ripped out, and he has no idea why. He's not sure why he's so angry, why Ardyn's there, the Chancellor of Niflheim, why he wants to badly to hurt Ardyn, to kill him. But Ardyn's talking kind of weird, nothing like the guy he met in Galdin Quay, even if it had been for just a little while.
He's talking... like Prompto, and Noctis has no godsdamned idea why. And Prompto's never seemed so calm, it's downright eerie.
And then. And then. Prompto and Ardyn, on the train, and Ardyn's pointing a gun at Prompto, and the gun is too high, aimed right above Prompto's head--
"How long were you in the dark?"
He wakes with a yell, in a cold sweat. Regardless if Alec is awake or not, he leaves immediately. And he doesn't look even remotely good. He's pale and shaking harder than he's ever shaken in his life, and there's a cold sweat on his forehead and his back. He doesn't know exactly what he's doing til he gets to the kitchen and pulls from the cupboard... some plates? Yeah. He's gonna smash the shit out of those in the mess hall.
After he's smashed some plates, Noctis is nowhere to be found for a little while. Then he's out in the exercise yard, staring up at the vast expanse of space.
He still doesn't look good at all. ]

Carver had stubbornly joined the Templars, spurning his sister in the process. Their mother died at the hands of a serial killer. And Bartrand? His dear brother Bartrand had gone mad as a result of the idol he'd tried to kill them all over.
Even long after Varric woke, he could still see Bartrand's corpse.
His first matter of the day was cleaning up Hamilton's side of the room. All of his collected items were kept in place, sitting neatly upon his desk. The bed was the only thing that was cleared off, and only because he was worried about the other inmates. Varric was used to death and being alone. He wasn't so sure about his friends.
For the most part, the door to cell 4 was kept open during the process. Anyone would be welcome to enter.
Later, Varric headed off to the new wing. His hope was to find a bar of some sort, stocked high with plenty of alcohol for him to get through the rest of his sentence -- however long that would be. When he failed to find any, he roamed the hall grumbling and complaining instead.
He did, however, steal into the arts and crafts room for a period of time, picking up more paper and then pausing to rifle through the collection of paints. After some exploration, Varric plopped down and began swirling some colors over a canvas.
It didn't surprise him when Bartrand's face began to stare back at him.]

It's not a surprise. What is, perhaps, surprising is how vivid the dream is; how he can see almost every other councilmember seated in their places, how Reaper takes his chair - that has to be Reaper, even dressed as he is, he's always had a flair for the dramatic and surely there's a reason - and how, for a moment, Akande is there.
Doomfist is there.
Akande stares up at the upper bunk for some time before getting to his feet. He gives a cursory glance to the few items apparently left for him, then starts to make his way in to the halls where he immediately notices the doors.
Interesting.
As much as he wants to, he doesn't linger too long in the exercise yard; investigating its offerings, sure, but not making use of any of them. The infirmary catches his interest as well, and he makes use of some of its own stock before moving on. He couldn't care less about the arts and crafts room, but the room of fire?
Here, he...simply takes a seat. Sweat slowly begins to form on his skin, but he doesn't seem to take heed, closing his eyes as if in meditation.
What do you mean this isn't a sauna, he's using it as one.]Room of Fire

But the doll standing in front of Yggdrasil, sounding so contrite and sorrowful--
"Why are you doing this?! Are you trying to hurt me?!"
"N-no... I just know that I'm no longer of use to you. So I thought..."
"That you'd offer yourself up to this thing? Don't be ridiculous!"
It was confusing. She had been so ready to throw herself away--how did the doll even have the capacity for such emotion? The crew said she had seemed a normal girl but... Why had Apollo herself admitted that her quest was over? That was impossible.
Impossible.
That was why she headed towards the new area after grabbing the sword left in front of her cell and placing it awkwardly in the empty scabbard on her armor. First off is the exercise yard where she takes the blade to do some stances. It... calms her. Barely.
She's going to do it over and over, though. As if she's driven to do it. Later, she'll be in the kitchen. She makes herself some very overcooked lamb before sulkily it in the mess hall.]

later on in the day he'll be exploring the new floors. he notably spends the most time in the exercise yard, looking up at the stars for some time before deciding to run some laps around the field.
after, mako can be found spending some time in the infirmary. yeah, those bandages? they're coming off. he's using one of the medical scissors to cut at his bandage. stop him? encourage him? watch? the choice is yours.
finally, mako will be in the mess hall with his usual cup of tea, reading...what appears to be some kind of romance novel. uh. fukawa may want to come and see this. ]

Erika isn't stupid, despite how she acts most of the time. She knows deep in her bones already that this wasn't some stress-dream after the trial - with no inconsequential part being because the trial caused her no stress at all.
But the information presented was... interesting, to say the least. An island, a murder, a Game that isn't this one - it gives her a lot to think about.
For most of the early day, Erika can be found inspecting the incinerator in the room of fire and later the supplies in the infirmary, as if checking for herself what's there. But in the afternoon, she moves to the library, surrounding herself with a few books and a stack of papers she looted from the storage closet.
It's important to note, however, that throughout all of this, Erika is wearing the world's tackiest pirate hat. Because why not. ]

Later on, he can be found in the exercise yard, sitting near the dome and watching the stars outside, his expression awed.]
They seem so large from this view.

Anyway.
Once Cheryl discovers that there's another wing to explore, she can be found going back and forth from the craft room to the mess hall, upgrading the shrine in the latter so that it's just a bit more colorful, as well as fixing some of the torn edges of the cardboard.
Later, she's in the infirmary, raiding the cabinets for some ointments and basic disinfectants. She's not taking all of it, just what looks about reasonable for one person to have in their own medicine cabinet. If you look in the box, there's also several sock-like pouches made of fabric. If anyone's familiar enough, it looks like some of those liners used for prosthetics.
Even later still, she's in the exercise yard, racing Christine Juniors with a strange frilly creature. When she's done, she leaves both tiny cars lined up neatly in a corner, apparently deciding that they qualify as exercise gear. She and the Gothitelle stay there until it's almost night time, just staring at the stars together.]
