Week 3
[Four people dead now - six, if you include the crew. Things have been a little rough on the Starfield Penitentiary this week. Blaze Dudely doesn't make a public reappearance during the weekend, so you've got a few days to yourselves to recover, though he's probably still sticking to his office hours if you really feel like going to see him. On Sunday morning, you may find that you're recovering a a few other things as well - both strange dreams and some new items.
In addition, there's a new set of doors at the end of the corridor, by that empty space where you'd been having your fight club. Looks like you've got a new wing to explore.]

(( ooc: Don't forget to turn in your AC for Week 2, submit your memory regains, and put in your benefactor threads! ))

...it's nice. [Better than she'd do.] What are you going to write about?
[Hopefully uh. More of the happy stuff.]

[ She looks down at it. ]
Stuff that isn't, you know. People dying.
no subject
C-can you show me how you did it?
[Maybe arts and crafts would be a good way to spend an hour or two. It's... different.]
no subject
[ It definitely seems to have relaxed Max some. ]

Alright.

[ She gestures to hers, which has all the papers inside folded in half with the construction paper cover folded over. ]
Full-size needs two pieces of construction paper, usually.
no subject
I think... half-size is good.
[She can carry it around comfortably like that.]

[This is a much simpler version of the process but-- for some reason, doing it, she feels like she has a newfound appreciation for the care they put into them, making them look good.]

[ She hands her the single hole punch- well, sets it on the table near her. ]
Then you pop holes out kinda like they do on lined paper. One near the top, one near the bottom, and one in the middle.

[She's probably seen her playing around with the camera in their cell but she's never really spoken with her about it.
Now seems like a fine time, while she works on punching holes through the paper.]

[This situation might just make them both stronger at their arts.]
no subject
[ Crime scene photography sure has been an interesting addition to her Artist's Experience. ]
Silver linings.

Things could get much worse but-- as long as we have hope, it's not over.
[It's sappy but... she can't deny it's saved them before. And honestly she'd hate to see anyone here fall into that kind of despair and hopelessness.]
no subject
Yeah, I think... I think that's a good outlook on it. Thanks.
no subject
[Even if it's just trying to save others some of the pain her classmates suffered.]
no subject
[ She probably wouldn't want a hand on her shoulder, but Max is mentally doing that. ]
Then you'd know better than anyone how important that is.
no subject
Th-that's right. Still... I'm... proof we can make it out of this.
[How is something she doesn't know yet, but to keep living she has to believe there's going to be a way.]
