[Four people dead now - six, if you include the crew. Things have been a little rough on the Starfield Penitentiary this week. Blaze Dudely doesn't make a public reappearance during the weekend, so you've got a few days to yourselves to recover, though he's probably still sticking to his office hours if you really feel like going to see him. On Sunday morning, you may find that you're recovering a a few other things as well - both strange dreams and some new items.

In addition, there's a new set of doors at the end of the corridor, by that empty space where you'd been having your fight club. Looks like you've got a new wing to explore.]

What? [It's quiet when she says it. And even through Apollo's armor, she could see the way the woman was just struggling to speak what was on her mind.

Families being lost to monster attacks were, sadly, not something new to Pyrrha's ears. Life was precarious in numerous places of Remnant.
But hearing this...]

Apollo, I'm... so sorry. I had no idea. Your friend, was she...?

Yes. We had been friends for many years before that happened.

[That... that is enough. Right? No one else in the prison knew about her, apart from being a 'doll'.] I'm the one of the handful that knew she didn't die in that attack.

She didn't. [She gets that part. But the part she's having a trouble understanding is probably the hardest part for both of them.]

But she did... as a vessel?

It was as if she became a doll. [Another long sigh--] She hadn't aged a single day since then, either. We both are twenty-four but you wouldn't guess it by looking at her.

[She's speechless.]

I did say I had a reason why I wanted to go to other skydoms.

But it might be serious. [She will!! you cant stop her from having sympathy!!]

Aren't you going to ask what I did for her to be so upset?

As far as I know, yes. I don't remember how we had gotten to the point but I do remember Yggdrasil.

[Well, might as well admit it.]

Yggdrasil is the Primal Beast of the Lumacie Islands. Her power keeps the great forests on that island thriving and had been asleep for quite some time. Until I forced Orchis to wake her up. The twisted creature I saw in my dreams was clearly Yggdrasil but corrupted into an even more powerful form. Orchis seemed to have been blaming herself for waking up the beast in the first place.

[Yet how could someone emotionless feel sorrow?]

"Yggdrasil"... [It's an odd word on her tongue.]

...She must have felt awful in awakening such a dangerous monster.

She felt more sympathy for the beast, upset that she--Yggdrasil--was angry and hurting.

[Yes. Definitely a 'she'. Rosetta wasn't here to enforce that but even that witch deserved some respect.]

[She rubs her arm, contemplatively.]

They both must have been... going through so much. I feel so sorry for them.

[These beings she's never met. They deserved that much.]

[There's definitely regret in her voice now.]

I don't know why Orchis was blaming herself.

Maybe she felt it was all she could do.

[She looks up at Apollo, no expression.]

Maybe... she didn't want you to blame yourself.

No! [...] Do you... know if she's really dead or not?

No. I blocked the blow and the other skyfarers took Yggdrasil down. [Maybe she should have said that.] The idea she would try, though...

This friend is someone you really care for, from what I heard at least. [It's a small observation, but definitely meant as a complement.]

She probably knows that too.

That Orchis isn't the friend I knew. She has no memories of our past and yet...

A soul is a very complicated thing, Apollo...

I believe that a new soul grew in that doll, Pyyrha. ['And I'm not very sure what to think about that.']

A new soul? [It's astounding what you hear around here. But more importantly, she sees that Apollo looks concerned.]
