Week 3
[Four people dead now - six, if you include the crew. Things have been a little rough on the Starfield Penitentiary this week. Blaze Dudely doesn't make a public reappearance during the weekend, so you've got a few days to yourselves to recover, though he's probably still sticking to his office hours if you really feel like going to see him. On Sunday morning, you may find that you're recovering a a few other things as well - both strange dreams and some new items.
In addition, there's a new set of doors at the end of the corridor, by that empty space where you'd been having your fight club. Looks like you've got a new wing to explore.]

[...She sounds almost jealous at that. Were these just dreams, after all? She wasn't sure.]

...I'm sorry, but, is something wrong?

I saw--[My doll. A person. Apollo hesitates for a moment before deciding,]--a young girl almost throw herself to an enraged Primal Beast for my sake. For doing something I had ordered her to do.
no subject
What-- I don't understand... Is she okay? Did you see if...?
[What happened.]
no subject
[There was a pause to her voice. That should have been good news but she shook her head.]
My question is why she would feel that much regret... She shouldn't have been able to feel anything at all.
no subject
But then...]
I don't understand. Why couldn't she feel things? If she was feeling that much regret, that's definitely a problem.

[She shuts herself off quickly, turning her gaze to the stars.] It was the first time in a decade that I saw her show such emotion. It... shouldn't have been possible.
[How could I have missed it?]
no subject
Apollo... I... I don't understand.
[She reaches out, somewhat hesitant, to put her hand on the woman's shoulder.]

A decade ago, when we were both children a Primal Beast attacked her family. She was the only survivor but it had torn her soul away from her body. No memories, no personality.
[There was a bitterness to her words as her shoulders tense.] Apparently the skyfarers had noticed some sort of personality in the girl but how could it have taken a decade for her to show that side to someone she was around constantly?

Families being lost to monster attacks were, sadly, not something new to Pyrrha's ears. Life was precarious in numerous places of Remnant.
But hearing this...]
Apollo, I'm... so sorry. I had no idea. Your friend, was she...?
no subject
[That... that is enough. Right? No one else in the prison knew about her, apart from being a 'doll'.] I'm the one of the handful that knew she didn't die in that attack.
no subject
But she did... as a vessel?
no subject
no subject
[She's speechless.]

no subject
Apollo, I'm... so sorry... I can't even imagine how that would feel.
[Getting such a responsibility thrust upon her.]
no subject
Don't be.
[She doesn't want or need your sympathy! She doesn't have a heart.]
no subject
Apollo, if there's anything else you want to talk about, I'm here. I can... try to help.
[Or at least make things better.]
no subject
...
She doesn't say anything but then:]
Aren't you going to ask what I did for her to be so upset?
no subject
no subject
[Well, might as well admit it.]
Yggdrasil is the Primal Beast of the Lumacie Islands. Her power keeps the great forests on that island thriving and had been asleep for quite some time. Until I forced Orchis to wake her up. The twisted creature I saw in my dreams was clearly Yggdrasil but corrupted into an even more powerful form. Orchis seemed to have been blaming herself for waking up the beast in the first place.
[Yet how could someone emotionless feel sorrow?]
no subject
...She must have felt awful in awakening such a dangerous monster.
no subject
[Yes. Definitely a 'she'. Rosetta wasn't here to enforce that but even that witch deserved some respect.]
no subject
They both must have been... going through so much. I feel so sorry for them.
[These beings she's never met. They deserved that much.]
no subject
[There's definitely regret in her voice now.]
I don't know why Orchis was blaming herself.
[When someone else was at fault.]
