[Four people dead now - six, if you include the crew. Things have been a little rough on the Starfield Penitentiary this week. Blaze Dudely doesn't make a public reappearance during the weekend, so you've got a few days to yourselves to recover, though he's probably still sticking to his office hours if you really feel like going to see him. On Sunday morning, you may find that you're recovering a a few other things as well - both strange dreams and some new items.

In addition, there's a new set of doors at the end of the corridor, by that empty space where you'd been having your fight club. Looks like you've got a new wing to explore.]

[a rude awakening is... one way of putting it.]

... [Not really.] Yeah. Just a bad dream.

[chides]

[ well. mako's not good at comforting people, but. ]

Wanna...talk about it?

[empathiser]

[That makes two of them.]

... No, not really.

[He'd... already felt everything from that dream before, he just knows it. Reliving it again is bad enough. No one should have to mourn the same person three times.]

Don't suppose you had weird and wonderful dreams too?

Alright.

[ he figured as such. will never seemed like an open kind of guy. mako isn't really, either. ]

It was vivid. Way too vivid to be a dream. Felt like it was happening in reality.

[empathiser]

[There's a pause, and then Will sits up. He didn't expect Mako to admit he did have strange dreams last night as well.]

Like a memory, almost.

[It's... something he doesn't want to admit, that he might be seeing a memory not a dream or something the darker depths of his mind thought up. He knew what had happened before he got here, but if this is a memory, then maybe he wasn't even remembering that right?

"A place was made for you, Abigail.. in this world. It's the only place I could make for you." -- because she was long dead. Returned to him and taken away by the same hands in the same fell swoop.]

[ if mako's dream had been bad, he wouldn't have said anything. but it wasn't.

korra wanted him to join them to find new airbenders; he'd refused, feeling out of place in team avatar after avoiding korra for so long. he couldn't face her after their breakup. it was only thanks to bolin saying that they could meet their family that mako had finally agreed to join them.

he can only wonder what happened next. ]

...I don't know how that's possible, but I'm open to the idea.

[empathiser]

[Will takes a deep breath - stabilising, more than anything.]

What I saw was an... outcome of something that had happened to me. [And if he's honest with himself, he'd come so close to death, but Abigail... Hannibal had cut her throat, right along her scar and completed the work that her father had started when they'd first met. And the only reason she'd survived the first time was because Hannibal had known how to hold the wound closed until help arrived.

He hadn't. And he'd been bleeding out on the floor alongside her.

If he's honest with himself, what he saw was the likely outcome of what had happened to them. As painful as it was.]

It was the most logical outcome of what happened. [He sound a little detached, and clinical.]

[chides]

...Really? Because mines was the opposite: mine didn't make much sense at all.

[ new airbenders? how was that possible? it must've just been a dream, but for will to have one so accurate, mako's having some doubts about this just being a dream.

still wouldn't explain why he doesn't remember there being new airbenders. but it felt all too real.

he doesn't know what to believe. ]

[empathiser]

So they're just... random? Or at some dreams and others are memories?

[How does this even work?]

[chides]

It's possible.

[ though...his dream really was vivid, and felt sort of...familiar...even if it didn't make sense. ]

Guess we'll see if anyone else's had the same experience.

[empathiser]

If it's not too personal to ask.

[I mean, he asked Mako but they roomies, yo. Roomie bond.]

But... it'd be good to know. Seeing as we had weird, pointed dreams at the same time.

[chides]

Yeah. It's too weird to be purely coincidence. Anyway...

[ he looks back at his bed. ]

I'm gonna try to get more sleep. I'd say you should too, but uh...

[empathiser]

[Will swings his legs properly out of the bed.]

I'm probably not going to. I'm going for a walk.

[He drops out of the bed and stretches.]
