[Four people dead now - six, if you include the crew. Things have been a little rough on the Starfield Penitentiary this week. Blaze Dudely doesn't make a public reappearance during the weekend, so you've got a few days to yourselves to recover, though he's probably still sticking to his office hours if you really feel like going to see him. On Sunday morning, you may find that you're recovering a a few other things as well - both strange dreams and some new items.

In addition, there's a new set of doors at the end of the corridor, by that empty space where you'd been having your fight club. Looks like you've got a new wing to explore.]

Our moon's... alright, I guess. Not a whole lot brighter than the stars, definitely.

Really? It might have something to do with our moon being... probably special.

The moon of Remnant is, umm, special.

For starters, a section of it is... shattered?

[It's great, isn't it.]

Oh... just... broken off?

It's rather strange actually; part of it was shattered long ago, but chunks of it still stay within its gravity and follow the moon in its orbit.

[It's fascinating if you don't think it's really frickin weird.]

Wowser, that's... that's sure a mental image.

Yeah, our moon is all in one piece.

The good news it, I don't think it really affects anything. [Unless RT says some shit in volume 5]

I'd... actually like to see that someday. A whole moon.

And I'd like to see a moon that's all broken up like that. It sounds very... anime.

Oh, it's uh... a kind of cartoon. With giant robots and lots of big crazy fights. I'm not as into them as some people are, but the ones I've seen are pretty cool.

Well, I have been in some big crazy fights before, that's for sure.

Probably more than me, but I think everyone here's been in more fights than Max Caulfield.

What kind of big crazy fights?

I don't know, maybe Max Caulfield might be a force to be reckoned with. [heehee, she's not really serious, but who knows. Teenagers are an amazing fighting force in Remnant.]

During our initiation, my team and another team were attack at the same time by a Deathstalker and a Nevermore. Those are extremely dangerous Grimm.

[ She doesn't quite laugh at that, but she does smile. ] Maybe.

[ But then whatever kinda hit there passes, and she nods. ] And you guys fought them off?

[Ahaha whoops.]

Well, we were briefly cornered, but after some careful planning and teamwork, we managed to defeat both giant monsters and returned to our school safely.

[She looks up at the stars.] It was an excellent initiation program, all things considered.

Man, if fighting two giant monsters is day one, I can't imagine what graduates from your school can handle.

Well, we are being trained to be defenders of our world. It's a tough job, but it's definitely worth it. [Basically speaking.]

I think about graduating sometimes. I can't wait for the day it happens. It's sure to be amazing.

Yeah, I know the feeling. I mean I'm just going to leave Blackwell and go to college for photography, no monster fighting involved, but...

That's still fascinating. Photography is one of the arts I've always been interested in. [She smirks.] No wildlife photography?

[If she's not photographing Grimm, she's probably fine.]

Nothing more vicious than squirrels or... a deer, once or twice.

Then I think you'll probably be fine.

Do people do photography of the... Grimm, where you're from?

[tokencanadian]

Sometimes. It's mostly for the sake of research. It's usually very dangerous.

[At least nerves of steel are kind of a requirement for photographers in Remnant.]
