Week 3
[Two weeks in, and all at once four people are dead. Chitose, Miki, Lucina, and Tsurugi - whatever the circumstances, however any of you may feel, their rooms are just as empty at the end of the week. If you check your P.I.P.s, you'll find that their pictures on the profile page have gone monochrome.
C.E.C.E.'s morning announcement comes like clockwork on Sunday. This time, though, there's an addendum to her usual message:]
Congratulations, Champions! By surviving your first trial, you have unlocked the second floor of the ship. A new mini map has been added to your P.I.P.! To access the second floor please stand on the teleporter and select the floor you wish to be teleported to.
[In addition to the new floor, the Champions will find that they've gained another memory this week.]
(( Welcome to Week 3! Don't forget to check in and submit your memory regains! Turn in your benefactor threads for sweet loot, too! ))
SUNDAY

after the execution--which he had turned away from and didn't see--he's had a lot on his mind. from being accused of murder to watching two people he was fond of hit the bucket, he just...
he needs to get away.
so early in the morning, he leaves his room to check out the new areas. he heads on over to the swimming pool, disappointed that there's no ice rink.
until he sees the ice skates and the hockey equipment. shit. he's confused, but also really really wants to figure out where the hell the ice rink is. that's when he presses the button, and the temperature suddenly drops.
nailed it.
he can be found warming up, doing stretches and whatnot in preparation...but it's clear this boy is ready to skate. he's got his skates on, and as soon as the rink's ready, he's on there doing jumps and shit. ]
Ice Rink
[She finally breaks the silence after a particularly impressive jump -or at least what passes as such to someone who's never seen a lick of ice skating in her life- with what amounts to golf clapping.]

[Manaka has been exploring the new rooms as well, so of course she eventually winds up at the swimming pool/ice rink combo. They've barely spoken to one another, but when she interrupts him, she does so without any shyness at all, her words punctuated with a not-unkind giggle.]

Step over my corpse and move forward.
Isn't that just a cherry on top of this whole situation. But he came back. Lucina. Tsurugi. Miki. Chitose. They won't. Not now. Maybe it's as simple as their death being representative of their souls, their spirits, but--
Move forward. Challenge your fate. He has to keep up appearances. Can't fail now. Can't falter. Can't let Yuugi--the Other Yuugi--the Pharaoh--down. Can't let Mokuba down. No matter what. It can't be for nothing, and it can't be all hot hair. He has to do something. He has to keep trying.
Kaiba's in as much gear as he has today, with his tight pants and a card-shaped locket around his neck. In the cafeteria early on, he's...oh dear. He seems to have a book that's on fire sitting on one of the tables. Standing there waiting. Also glowering. At the book. It looks like it might have been a weird pop-up book at some point? So if there's a sprinkler system, guess we'll find out, right? He's also added a few items to his yard sard if anyone is interested, but uh...
Upstairs, because now there's an upstairs, he pokes around the zero-g room, playing with the buttons and poking his head in, but he doesn't seem to quite trust it enough to take a leap inside yet. He looks at the other rooms, thinks they are ridiculous and the trash compactor to be ominous, and ends up in the diner flipping through the jukebox. They have jrock. So that's a thing.
And in his room, he makes a point to finally sit down and have a conversation.]
CECE. That's your designation, right? Tell me, do you know how to play Duel Monsters?

"Stop it."
"Wh-what are you...hey, let go of me, Shittymatsu! Hey!"
"I'll kill you! I said let go!"
He wakes up in a cold sweat, and for a long while he doesn't entirely remember where he is. But then it sinks in that he's still in space...in room 23, sharing it with Osomatsu and no one else. Osomatsu, who is still asleep next to him...he tries to drift back to sleep, but every time he closes his eyes he sees it happening all over again. A fight of a different kind breaks out in the Matsuno home, ending with Karamatsu knocking Osomatsu to the floor and dragging him outside to calm down. Choromatsu would move out the next morning...finding a job, leaving their home after so many years of nothing. Osomatsu had not been handling the news well. Then Todomatsu would leave...then Karamatsu.
And so on.
He wants to believe it's a dream. But even as he leaves his room before Osomatsu, he can still feel the cold chill of the concrete against his forehead as he bows in a pleading gesture, begging Chibita for someplace to stay. He knows he'll need to talk to Osomatsu about it, but...not right now. He doesn't have it in him.
What Karamatsu finds in his dumbwaiter before he steps out, however, honestly causes him to cry. He has to kneel by the wall and just...cry until he's feeling more or less spent and like he didn't just wake up before he leaves and heads for the Cafeteria. There is another floor today, but he will look at that later. For now...he sits in a chair by one of the walls with a guitar resting in his lap, one he spends several minutes tuning before he actually tries a few chords. Eventually, people walking in and out of the cafeteria will hear Karamatsu playing a song on it, singing softly under his breath. It's not his own song...but it is from one of his idols. And he has to get out this stress somehow.
Later on in the day, Karamatsu treats himself to dinner in the new Diner. He'd been growing very tired of the pre-packaged, canned, and freeze dried foods, so this place is a blessing from God, honestly. It's very American...and instead of disappointing him, it's actually very exciting. He's always wanted to visit America, and he very much appreciates American food. So you might find Karamatsu eating a steak nicer than any he's ever had. Plus a chocolate milkshake, of course. If it's going to be free and he's trapped here, then why the hell not.]
[Closed to Yuri]
[Karamatsu heads back to his room early, and he'll be alone in Room 23 until Osomatsu comes by later to go to bed. He's left the door ajar though, feeling a little too cramped in there otherwise. He's got his guitar out again, idly plucking at the strings.]

[Osomatsu had.... a very difficult dream, last night.
His brother -- Choromatsu had finally gotten himself a job, and was planning on moving out. Osomatsu.. didn't take it well. At all. He knew that Choromatsu moving out was going to start a domino effect, the others were sure to follow and he wasn't ready for it yet. He was scared to move on and start having responsibilities and having to look after himself -- he was scared to live on his own after living with his five brothers every day of his life. So he kicked and screamed and earned himself a punch right to his jaw by Karamatsu, the other eldest brother.
And then everyone left.
And he was all alone.
Osomatsu woke up late, today. He woke up to his brother being gone already and.. honestly, he doesn't leave immediately. For the most part of the day, Osomatsu is holed up in room 23, laying on the bed unmoving as he.. pretty much just feels sorry for himself.]
ii.
[It isn't until around four pm that Osomatsu finally leaves his room. He found a bottle of whiskey that had been left here for Karamatsu and without a lot of hesitation, down a good chunk of it before heading on his way. Today was definitely an alcohol day.. definitely.
He decides to explore a little bit though until he winds up at the diner and orders himself a meal much larger than someone could actually eat on their own. He has two hamburgers, a hotdog, three orders of fries and an apple pie.. along with that bottle of whiskey that he brought with him. Right now, he's just nibbling at the fries while taking sips at his drink, his appetite not quite there yet.]
iii.
[Later in the evening, you can find Osomatsu in the Zero Gravity Room just.. floating around, really. He remembers a conversation he had with Chitose when they first met, about how cheap it felt not to have zero gravity. Now it just seems like a cruel way for the Overseers to mock him.. first Tsurugi had been thrown into space to explode after having a conversation with him about it now this..
He sighs, and pushes himself off the ceiling to slowly descend back to the ground below.]

[Waking up is as jarring as it ever has been, the world of the memory crashing into the present in a brief jumble of happy confusion. She sits quietly, hands covering an ecstatic smile, clinging to that moment for as long as possible. The friend she'd never hoped to have at all turning out to be even better than anyone could ask for - it's something she can tell Lucina, she thinks for just a second, and that's what finally brings the last few days back in full.]
...Miss CECE, can I ask you something?
[Later in the day, she can be found in front of the Memorial Wall Korra and Max started. She's adding to it, drawing in an approximation of Lucina with the marker she got out of the dumbwaiter.]
[By the afternoon, she's found her way to the Diner; examining the juke box. She flips through a few songs, frowning slightly, before finding one that's apparently familiar.]

For the vast majority of Sunday, Slaine remains locked up in Room 3. He leaves during the afternoon to get some food from the cafeteria, but he makes no effort to initiate conversation. He will respond if called to, but he otherwise makes a beeline back to his room. Anyone who catches him along the way may notice a slight redness to his eyes, though.]

Her dreams are particularly vivid today. And Korra has no reason to hold back her screams as she feels the poison take control of her, as she remembers desperately fighting against protecting herself.
Then giving in and trying her best to take Zaheer down with her, moving mountains despite the intense pain, despite how heavy she felt. Every part of her felt weighed down by metal, until she couldn't fight it anymore. And then, the very air being pulled from her lungs. And how she couldn't fight it anymore.
Korra wakes up, her throat sore, and sobs loud.]

After a while, he comes to the realization that there's a lot fewer people around today. Where is everyone?
Maybe he can take advantage of that. He'll be at the memorial wall for a little while, laying out some items. There's a portrait of Chloe and Max, modeled after that photograph, and also a portrait of Miki sitting next to one of her friend Kei. None of the other dead make an appearance yet, but that's just what he'd already done. It'll take a little while to finish up more.
Once it's set up, Max can be found sitting down with his back to the wall, looking at a bedazzled old flip-phone.]

The mixture of concern and an horrible hangover make Zombina slightly late to leave her room today. Salvation is found though, as she nixes some Asprin from Lucina's stuff. Along with a few other things. But more importantly, Asprin.
After takig the Asprin, Zombina waits until it takes the hangover down to a more manageable level, she shambles out to eat in the cafeteria, looking like an actual shambling Zombie for once. Albeit on wrapped up in a blanket. She sets the bottle of Lactase Prescription she got from the dumbwaiter today on her table of tradeabales.
She can be found shambling all over the new floor, seeming to try and take stock of everything.
She stays the longest at the trash compacter. She's giving it an clearly uncomfortable look. This... is probably the only thing here she's seen that could possibly kill her.
Later in the day she decides to stop by the diner for food.... and it looks like she's stacked several stakes together to make a steak burger. Geez, how much meat can she fit onto one burger?!]
