Week 3

[Two weeks in, and all at once four people are dead. Chitose, Miki, Lucina, and Tsurugi - whatever the circumstances, however any of you may feel, their rooms are just as empty at the end of the week. If you check your P.I.P.s, you'll find that their pictures on the profile page have gone monochrome.

C.E.C.E.'s morning announcement comes like clockwork on Sunday. This time, though, there's an addendum to her usual message:]

Congratulations, Champions! By surviving your first trial, you have unlocked the second floor of the ship. A new mini map has been added to your P.I.P.! To access the second floor please stand on the teleporter and select the floor you wish to be teleported to.

[In addition to the new floor, the Champions will find that they've gained another memory this week.]

No...no, of course not. I just did not even know you had it.

[How the heck did you slip that one by him niisan.]

Well I woke up and saw it and.. just took it with me everywhere.

[It's been rough, Karamatsu. He really needed a crutch today.]

I finished it off a couple hours ago.

[karappo]

Ahh...well. I suppose it cannot be helped.

You have some more we could drink, then?

[titularly]

Yeah, I was given some.

[Osomatsu gently pushes Karamatsu back from him, then, so he can get up to his feet and stumble a little to the bed.]

It's literally just the same stuff from before so it ain't like you're missing out on anything.

[karappo]

Let's have some, then.

[Do they have glasses? Maybe Osomatsu won't be offended if they just drink straight from the bottle because he's not sure how he feels about having to go back to the cafeteria right now.

Karamatsu follows Osomatsu to the bed, sitting up on the edge of it. At least they seem to be...okay.

...right?]

[Honestly.... the jury's out on whether or not they're okay. Osomatsu's not sure what to even feel after everything that's been said.. that's why he defaulted on drinking. Because it makes it so he doesn't have to feel anything, or think about anything.

So when Karamatsu takes a seat, Osomatsu sits next to him and pops open the bottle, taking a long swig of it before handing it over to his brother.]

[karappo]

[Karamatsu obliges once the whiskey is handed over to him, taking a swig just as long. God, he hasn't had any alcohol since he got here...and while he handles it pretty badly, he needs it now.]

It is not beer...but it is something.

[titularly]

[Osomatsu's been drinking as much as he could since he got here, but even he needs it the most right now than any other time. It's.. been a lot.]

Maybe they'll put in a bar or somethin' with some beer in it.

[Karamatsu considers the whiskey bottle for a moment before passing it back to Osomatsu.]

Wishful thinking. I believe they know that we want one.
