week 1
[After the initial introduction of the Overseers on Sunday, the Champions were left to their own devices in investigating the part of the ship they have access to to their hearts' content. However, the doors that Jamie and Bolton came through are locked tight and cannot be unlocked via PIP.
On Monday morning, the same voice that awakened them the previous morning chirps at them again from their PIPs at 7 am on the dot. There's also a pop-up message waiting for them: a notice announcing "office hours" for Bolton in the library and Jamie in the art room every day from here on out.
Enjoy your week, Champions.]

Every so often, he'll also be found trying to mess with the unknown door. He's not doing anything that might damage the lock, simply nudging it and the door occasionally.
Later, he can be found in the cafeteria, staring at the espresso bar with some confusion.]

In the afternoon, Jane can be found in the art room - hey, there's no office hours yet - having commandeered a sketchbook and set of pencils, and is writing out what looks to be a few different comparison tables on the pages. Titles like "Are we actually in space?", "What exactly is expected of us?", "How do we get out of here?", and "Bolton = Alton Brown???" are included in the mix, each with a column of definite facts and hypotheses. Every so often Jane sighs and taps the eraser of her pencil against the paper, stuck in her thoughts.
You should totally pull her out of those thoughts or join her in those thoughts.

Don't think he's actually Alton Brown. Some kind of distant relative or parallel, maybe, that kind of thing happens sometimes.

investigating here!
No time for anything other than investigation, and Chitanda's eyes and nose are as sharp as ever. The library is the biggest room, so she'll save that for later, instead opting to begin her exploration in the media room. She pokes around in all sorts of places; under the seats, between the armrests, in the popcorn machine, and in the selection of movies. While she's not big on science fiction, she's hoping to find something just a little bit interesting...
While that may or may not be fruitless, her next stop is the game room, and while the idea of playing some of these is tempting to keep in mind, she's still mostly here for poking around. She's mostly looking at the tabletop games, to see if any of them have been used recently, or if the character sheets have been filled out. ...But even if they aren't, the blank ones have her curious, and she decides to pocket one for later with a manual, just so she can read it during the evening.
Finally, well, there's a room that pretty much has her name on it, and it's...well, the unknown room. And by God, if that's not the one that she's wracking her brain around the most. The room is locked, but, there must be some kind of way to enter it, right? A button or a switch, or a key or a way to slide something between the lock and the frame?! She's curious, she's curious, she can't stop thinking about it!! ]

For a large part of the afternoon he can be found stalking the halls though he occasionally peeks his head into other rooms, stares at who ever is inside, then leaves.
For some it might be creepy, but perhaps a few see it for what it is: making sure no one is left alone for more then a few minutes at a time. To get into trouble. Or plot something.
In the evening, after dinner, a note seems to appear in the cafeteria- it's written on paper from the art room in very nice flowing script. Though in fact there are two notes: one posted above the espresso bar, and one much lower to the ground.
...assumedly just so Toby can see it]
My fellow 'Champions',
I feel it would be prudent that we gather and compare information, as well as decide a plan for the next few days. I implore you keep your heads, and discover anything you can about this place while we still have the freedom to do so.
After midday meal tomorrow I will prepare the cafeteria for such. No one is required to attend, but I heavily suggest doing so. Paper and writing implements will be provided.
Yours respectfully,
Crown Prince Xander of Nohr
Postscript: If someone would be willing to convey this information to Thomasin I would greatly appreciate it
Post-Postscript: Bolton. Jamison. I know you are likely reading this: said offer is of course always extended to our gracious hosts in these trying times.
[It's unclear if the second post script is an earnest invite or a mocking addition- considering who it is likely no one will ever know. But if anyone wants to ask Xander is around just like he was earlier in the day and well into 'Nighttime']

Later, though, he can be found just chilling in the media room, enjoying what it has to offer in movies. Listen, he's not in a hurry, and who knows what can be learned from this. He definitely has popcorn with this.
After that, he can be found browsing the game room. He's looking through things with a frown on is face, seeming to want to find... Something. Occasionally, he'll remove something, read the rules, and then put it back with a frown. Yup. Definitely looking for something. ]

So she's taken one of the MRE's, looking through the different meals it contains. She settles one something called peach cobbler, and just like she remembers, it looks like a piece of insulation that is brittle and has about as much flavor as cardboard. Aaaaah, memories. She'll share if asked. Someone else may as well learn just how awful a food the military gets.
Later she's found her way to the media room. It looked like a movie theater. Light wasn't much for socializing, but that doesn't mean she hasn't gone to places like this with her sister and mother back in the day. The movies left much to be desired, the monsters looking like nothing from back in her world.
Each movie gets a once over and a notable disapproval.]
Who watches these awful things?

In both the art and game rooms, he seems much less impressed. Nothing seems to catch his attention save that they exist. The media room, if nobody has a movie going already, has him sifting through movie titles, occasionally even reading up on one.
He makes it back to the cafeteria right around dinnertime. Holy shit, an actual dinnertime, though. With hot food! Ready to eat! That isn't reconstituted packets! Who...prepared that? He peeks into the kitchen, and nobody is there. It doesn't even look like the kitchen is full of any food.]
Where did it come from...? [Says the hedgeface as he curiously, cautiously gets himself a plate of food. Growing affronts to god have to eat, too, you know.]

That's pretty much how things go for her all day, and while she doesn't try to pop into anyone else's room, she can be found mapping out all the other accessible areas. She does make a longer stop in the cafeteria for lunch, setting the sketchbook down for a while to eat.
Later in the evening, she returns to Room 10 and--]

He does make the unitard a bit more tolerable by tying a towel around the lower half. Not exactly fashionable, but a lot more bearable in appearance and won't drive eyes right to his crotch.
After that he goes exploring. He does want to check the other rooms out, but he's also looking for some sort of string to tie his hair back with and also something he could use to act as an earring for now because he doesn't want the hole to close up before he gets his back. He'll go in most of the rooms for a time, but the cafeteria and art room will gain the most interest right off since those look the most likely to have what he needs. Eventually he finds some stuff that works and has his hair looking tolerable again and a makeshift earring.
Later on, he decides to check out the media room and ends up getting rather absorbed by the movies. Video is still a bit rare in Zemuria, but it does exist. It doesn't tend to be used for such frivolous things. He definitely seems to enjoy the action films with good fights. He'll likely be there most of the day but if someone wants to watch something, he'll not care since he doesn't know any of the titles and figures someone might know better.]
