Week 1

[After the initial introduction of the Overseers on Sunday, the Champions were left to their own devices in investigating the part of the ship they have access to to their hearts' content. However, the doors that Jamie and Bolton came through are locked tight and cannot be unlocked via PIP.

On Monday morning, the same voice that awakened them the previous morning chirps at them again from their PIPs at 7 am on the dot. There's also a pop-up message waiting for them: a notice announcing "office hours" for Bolton in the library and Jamie in the art room every day from here on out.

The Overseers would have to be braindead to leave an exit easily accessible to us.

[And once they find the exit surely it'll be heavily defended]

I doubt they'd keep us in a place where the means of escape wouldn't be easy to access. Since they don't seem in too much of a rush to let us go, we might have to wait for other floors to open up to find it.

Given what the Overseers want, the exit must be right where they are.

It's only matter of time before I reach them and give them what they deserve for starting this charade in the first place.

[Yes. She's kind of not so kind of making fun of you if you can hear that in her voice, because Togami, you look like you can't lift.]

[Not really. He's going to destruct this place, that's for sure, but Togami isn't sure what he'll do with the Overseers. It depends on how annoyed he is by the time he reaches them]

You'd do well on not underestimating me.

I'm not going to fight with you, if that's what you're trying to say. I have better things to do than sparring.

Sparring can be a good way to learn about people.

I don't see how sparring can lead to learning anything.

[Or more like "I'm not interested in learning anything about you". However, he has a small amount of respect for Lightning for the moment, partly because of the age difference he perceives and partly because she doesn't seem a total waste of time like others, so he refrains from making a comment he'd have done without a second thought if it had been to most of the other residents of the spaceship]

You can learn their weaknesses in a different way than just speaking with them or observation. You may think someone is weak due to how they look and talk, but they could be a powerhouse fighter.

[Makes sense, and therefore that's another reason for Togami not to spar with Lightning. He's not going to show his weaknesses to anyone]

There are other people who'd like to spar with you. I'm not going to do it.

Suit yourself.

[It's not like she's offering to spar with anyone, but she might teach some of the younger girls around here to at least defend themselves. Would Togami even be afraid of learning that because it pits him against Lightning?]
