Week 1

[After the initial introduction of the Overseers on Sunday, the Champions were left to their own devices in investigating the part of the ship they have access to to their hearts' content. However, the doors that Jamie and Bolton came through are locked tight and cannot be unlocked via PIP.

On Monday morning, the same voice that awakened them the previous morning chirps at them again from their PIPs at 7 am on the dot. There's also a pop-up message waiting for them: a notice announcing "office hours" for Bolton in the library and Jamie in the art room every day from here on out.

Aren't fresh fruit and vegetables supposed to be the healthiest things to eat...

Yes. But in a place like this? How would they get it here every day to support as many people and animals that we have here for an extended amount of time?

Why not? If they can get us all here then funds can't be the issue. You don't really believe that we're in space, do you?

I'm not ruling out the possibility.

[I.e. she's believes that the Overseers have them in a place where escape where it might not be too smart to just walk through a door.]

That's not even possible. It's been less than twenty years since they first got someone to the moon. How would they have gotten more than twenty people into space in less than a day?

[It's amazing what they can do, but they're not that quick.]

[You're talking to someone who lives in a world without a space program.]

This is most likely not the space where you're from. These people may be far more advanced than those from yours.

This isn't making any sense. If they're so much more advance why would they need to bring us here just for a sick experiment.

Your guess is as good as mine. I'm not from a world where things like this happen.

[It's much, much worse.]

Do you think any of the others are? Some of them seem to know this technology.

You'd have to ask them yourself. From the ones I've met, there's some of them who have never even seen a computer. They must come from a time long ago. There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason as to who was picked. Just our titles.

...I've never seen a computer before. Not a proper one.

I doubt we'll get any answers if we ask. Not beyond the titles.

[She still can't imagine never seeing a computer.]

Not for a while at least. They'll crack eventually. And if not, we'll find a way to make them.

[At least she has an idea of what they are.]

From what we've seen of them so far. I would be surprised if they just gave us more questions.

[Let's hope that this place at least has safe search on their computers.]

That's how the bad guys work, right? It's not like we'll get lucky and they'll monologue. [Like in movies.]

If we're really lucky there'll be infighting as well.

We'll have to wait and see on that one. I have a feeling... no. I have to confirm it first before I'll say anything.
