week 1
[After the initial introduction of the Overseers on Sunday, the Champions were left to their own devices in investigating the part of the ship they have access to to their hearts' content. However, the doors that Jamie and Bolton came through are locked tight and cannot be unlocked via PIP.
On Monday morning, the same voice that awakened them the previous morning chirps at them again from their PIPs at 7 am on the dot. There's also a pop-up message waiting for them: a notice announcing "office hours" for Bolton in the library and Jamie in the art room every day from here on out.
Enjoy your week, Champions.]

Fair enough- it was certainly effective.
Though that is odd... not a single thing?

Isn't it strange?! I have pretty good eyes, too, so if there were something out of place, I'm sure I'd be able to see it, but right now, this room is immaculate! But isn't that suspicious?! It could just be a really thorough cleaning job, but that begs the question, of course, of who's doing the cleaning! Do you think there's some sort of housekeeping staff here? And, now that I think about it, how are we going to keep getting supplies and such here, if we're really all the way out in deep space?! If we're really supposed to be here with no time limit, there must be some way they intend to keep this place livable, so, how is that going to work?!
I'm so curious about it, Your Highness!

[It's cute though, so he's not AS scowl-y as usual]
It IS strange- there's an unnatural fakeness to this place. Even something freshy built would have some sign of the people who made it. And I have to wonder where our discarded food and the like is supposed to go with no staff. I would ask Bolton and Jamison but I doubt they would give a straight answer.

[ Though it may not help much, depending on the circumstance-- ]
I think it may be worth a try to ask, even if we don't get a direct answer! Their responses may give us some clues...right now, we don't have a lot of information, so I think anything will help. The more we have, the less people will start to fret, right?

For a moment Xander looks a bit flabbergasted- espcially since Chitanda seemed to be the only one here to actually note his rank.
Then he bursts out laughing, from deep deep in his belly. It seems to cut 10 years of age off his face, exposing him as the young man he actually is. Once he calms a bit he pats her shoulder, almost as if to hold himself up on her much smaller frame]
Gods... I, yes Chitanda I would be honored.
[He even manages a bow, though it's a little shaky]
I HAVE been told that I take immaculate notes, after all.

The fact that they can laugh like this, even in their situation, is more than proof enough for Chitanda that everything is going to be fine. Prince Xander may hail from a rough land, but anyone who can laugh that sincerely must have a wonderful heart. ]
Oh, I've noticed! Your handwriting is incredible, it must have taken quite a long time to make it that neat! Your signature on royal documents is probably hung up in royal museums, is it not?

[He coughs, wiping his face and standing upright again, arms crossed behind his back and chin up]
Regardless, I will be expecting a full report tomorrow on anything you find- I shall make sure to write it all down.

Oh, and, about the snacks...Do you have any preferences?
no subject
Well, we will have lunch shortly before, so I doubt anyone will be wanting anything too heavy. Perhaps see if the kitchen has anything that would fare as a dessert?
