week 2
[The second week in the Champion Excellence Program kicks off on a somber note. Chitanda, Toby, the Griffin- all three of them gone, two of them in one fell swoop. If anyone thinks to check the profiles on their P.I.P.s they will find that the dearly departed Champions' profile photos have been greyed out.
Right on the dot at 7 am the mechanical woman's voice chimes to awaken the remaining champions on Sunday morning, as she has for the past week. After the initial wake-up call though there's a new message tacked on:]
Congratulations, Champions! By surviving your first trial, you have unlocked the second floor of the ship. A new mini map has been added to your P.I.P.! To access the second floor please stand on the teleporter and select the floor you wish to be teleported to.
[The new floor isn't the only thing floating around the ship though, at least metaphorically. When the Champions are awakened they have regained one new memory from the ones they've lost. Starting again on Sunday, as well, Jamie and Bolton will be back to their usual office hours in their usual locations.]
[ooc: welcome to week 2, everyone! Check-in has begun and don't forget to submit your memory regains!]
THURSDAY

He hadn't expected the PIP to make loud static noise during the night. Sleep hadn't come at all that night, and when morning came, he was very tired. That's why during most of Thursday he stays in his room, sleeping to recover. Togami wasn't unused to staying awake until late, but that was different from what he's used to. The fact he was wearing a cone of shame didn't help get good sleep, either.
Around 5:00 PM he leaves his room, wearing the cone of shame. Togaminime's head can be seen through the bedsheets, peeking out and not moving at all. He also has the diaper bag, there's something blue and plastic peeking out from it.
Reading is bound to make him sleepier, so he avoids the Library. Instead he goes to the showers. He takes out the inflatable pool he randomly received -- for some reason -- and starts blowing into it. This is going to take a while.
But with perseverance anything is possible. Once it's inflated Togami fills it with water and starts dragging it to the Zero Gravity Room. No food allowed or drinks allowed, huh. Well this isn't a drink.
Anyone who goes into the zero gravity room may see a large floating blob of water, just going around and bouncing. Uh, and Togaminime is inside the ball of water. Not a shining figure of parenting, this Togami. Togami is holding onto the straps of the diaper bag, which he tied to one of the ladders, and observing the ball of water around. Also the inflated kiddie pool is floating around too.
What's this guy doing now?]

A rather grim way to die.
[Drowning in a bubble you have no ability to even TRY to swim out of? To a man like himself who can't even swim when the water ISN'T in Zero G, it was horrific- though no fear shows on his face, just discomfort]

Consider this a poll: do they have a holiday about rabbits, where you're from? [ ... ] It has something about colored eggs and a dead saint, so I think it's a religious one, but I can't remember its name or what it's about. [ It's not just about the rabbits, ok, she promised Lightning she'd ask. ]
[ Alternatively, you can catch her in the library in evening. Tired of being in the Ye Oldes Club, Rukia is looking for any books that might give her an inkling of how this future tech works. Granted, she knew how to, say, work cellphones and washing machines, but didn't really know how they functioned, and while it was something she could brush aside back home, it was starting to make her feel a little stupid. And just her luck, there's one title that stands out to her, Introduction to the Magnetic Phenomena.
Except, it's on the very top shelf.
Rukia grimaces, trying to jump up to grab it, but alas she can't stay in the air long enough to even touch it, let alone yank it down. This was never a problem back home when she could just walk on air, come on. Climbing on the shelf, she figures, is a little too dangerous, so she begins stacking books from the lower shelves to use as a set of stairs. Um. Maybe that isn't the safest idea either. ]

Yes, they do. It's called Easter, and it's supposed to be about Jesus, but my Dad and I aren't particularly religious, so we do more of the rabbits and eggs kind of thing. It's actually really cute.

BOLTON ALERT
and bitch and moanabout losing, but still, cleaning the showers isn't so bad. He'll do it. Grudgingly. So first thing in the morning, just to get it the hell out of the way, since they're supposed to do it all damn week, he has...decided the easiest way for him to do his part is to splash soapy water all across the floor, strap some scrubby brushes to his furry feet, and skate around. With the friction, it's hardly the same experience, buuuut it's the closest he can get right now. He might even look like he's mildly enjoying himself. At some point, Shadow can be seen in the library flipping through a dictionary. And then hurrying back to his room. Nothing is wrong and nothing happened and he doesn't know what you're talking about.
Though at some point, for a solid hour, he sits outside Bolton's conference room with whatever the hell this thing is. For a while he just does one continuous note. Just...forever. If Shadow even has a musical bone in his body, it doesn't convert to this contraption, and when he starts sliding his fingers around, the horrible horrible screeching is...maddening. Hope nobody's having a meeting in there. (This is not at all a complete waste of time and only a pyrrhic victory since he also subjected his ears to this.)
In the afternoon, he returns to the library, going through the shelves and making a list of books. Book by book. Because fuck it, if someone's gonna start it, might as well be him, right?
He'll get bored of that, though, and end up in the music room with his weird little noisemaker. Seems like it should stay in here. For safe keeping? Actual real honest-to-god music might be nice.]

Later it's back to the gym. This time she's just tossing one of the basketballs against the wall and catching it. One, two, three... Kurumi mouths the numbers as she catches the ball each time.
After lunch she's in the library. The book she has in front of her is Christine by Stephen King. Next to her are several of the Dark Tower books and a copy of Eyes of the Dragon. Kurumi is staring at the book, swallowing a little. Crap... She shouldn't have picked up this one, she knew it.]

At more reasonable hours of the day, she'll be in the cafeteria eating at mealtimes, or in the art room, where she's happily working on a sign covered in glitter and sequins. What could this possibly be for?
In the afternoon, she's set the sign up in the cafeteria with everything in the "can trade" section here. You can find her eating crackers and cheese, since she got two of those mini cheese wheels -- she'll share if you want, even if you don't have anything to yard sard.]

He's still a bit embarrassed at the idea of approaching Yurika after she told him and Margulis to get a room, but he needs to show he's not bothered by it. He'll walk up behind her, but so quietly she may not even realize it until he's right next to her.]

You'll find her in the library in the afternoon, carefully selecting books from its tiny mystery section or seated in a chair, lightly sketching something that might be a basic outline of Chitanda from memory. What is she up to...?]

He'll be in the art room for a time trying to come up with some sort of annoying way to make use of one of the "gifts" he got. He's got what seemingly appears to be a bright red balloon that is blown up and tied off, but it's definitely not one. He seems stuck on an idea of what to do with it and could certainly use some input.
He'll also be in the library around the time of Bolton's office hours, but won't be going into the conference room. He's just pretending to look at a book when he's actually looking more for when someone will actually make use of Bolton's office hours.
Other than that, he's going to be looking for anyone who has been remotely friendly to him around mealtimes to see if they can sneak him out some food from either the cafeteria, kitchen or diner.
He'll also be avoiding shower cleaning duty again until the PIP annoys him, this time it will be not long after lunch and then he'll be in the men's shower doing a not so great job cleaning.]

Mods please, investigating the music room
[Later in the morning he can be found in there experimenting with some of the instruments, playing a few simple tunes on one of the recorders before shaking his head and putting it back.]
Nope, still doesn't feel right anymore.
[Later on, he can be found in the diner enjoying something besides the cafeteria food and MREs. It's a simple burger and
frieschips, but it's some actual food for once. He does seem to be paying a lot of attention to the little model rockets that are bringing out the food, tracking them around the restaurant and back into the 'kitchen' area.]How the hell they're cookin' all this on demand is what I'd like to know.
