week 2
[The second week in the Champion Excellence Program kicks off on a somber note. Chitanda, Toby, the Griffin- all three of them gone, two of them in one fell swoop. If anyone thinks to check the profiles on their P.I.P.s they will find that the dearly departed Champions' profile photos have been greyed out.
Right on the dot at 7 am the mechanical woman's voice chimes to awaken the remaining champions on Sunday morning, as she has for the past week. After the initial wake-up call though there's a new message tacked on:]
Congratulations, Champions! By surviving your first trial, you have unlocked the second floor of the ship. A new mini map has been added to your P.I.P.! To access the second floor please stand on the teleporter and select the floor you wish to be teleported to.
[The new floor isn't the only thing floating around the ship though, at least metaphorically. When the Champions are awakened they have regained one new memory from the ones they've lost. Starting again on Sunday, as well, Jamie and Bolton will be back to their usual office hours in their usual locations.]
[ooc: welcome to week 2, everyone! Check-in has begun and don't forget to submit your memory regains!]

After she's finished, she can be found in the library, back to her usual hairstyle and new clothing. In contrast to the week before, however, she isn't ceaselessly pouring over the non-fiction section or taking notes; instead, she can be found wandering aimlessly from shelf-to-shelf, as if she isn't sure what to do with herself.]

[Ricky's been searching the station methodically for a few minutes, though it's still fairly early in her search that she finds her target. (She didn't have to check the second level at all!) She walks over fairly slowly, not wanting to risk spilling the bowl of ice cream she's carrying (strawberry, fudge ripple, and an interesting caramel-swirled chocolate variety, with sprinkles).]

Ricky.
[She replies with a typically laconic greeting.]

[She holds up the bowl.]
I wasn't sure what flavor you'd like, so I tried to get a variety.

For a second, Angelica freezes up, looking down at the bowl in Ricky's hands. As simple as the gesture is, she isn't sure how to respond to it. Very rarely has anyone gone out of their way to do something kind for her, and especially not after—
Finally, she blurts out:] Thank you.

[Did she pick a bad selection of flavors? Is Angelica lactose intolerant? What could it be?]
no subject
[As stunted as her feelings are, she can appreciate that.]
no subject
[...but still, that seems like a weird response. Angelica's been kind of weird all week, actually...]

Do you intend to sit with me while I eat?
no subject
[Or rather, if nobody stops her.]

[With that said, she turns and heads straight for the nearest clean table.]
no subject
I hope you like it.

...But, if Ricky is being so nice, she can at least act the part in return.]
I'm sure I will.
[With that said, she begins to eat, looking down at her ice cream with great focus.]
no subject
Ricky waits for her to make some progress before bringing up the other matter on her mind.]
Are you feeling all right?
no subject
...I am a doll. I don't feel anything.

Her scrubbing slows to a halt as she looks in Yurika's direction.]
Thank you. It was my first time playing.

Library
[The Doctor's got a small armful growing himself. A few more technical and scientific books from the non-fiction section, 'Under the Dome', and 'Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban'.]

[Her delivery is a bit more robotic than usual.]
