Week 2
[The Champions have now been here for one week, and while the dud of a first incentive didn't tempt anybody, the fact remains obvious: a lack of murder isn't going to be the thing that gets you out of here.
Blaze Dudely and Rox have not made a reappearance since Tuesday, leaving you to your own devices for the moment. That door they entered and exited through remains locked, and there is no new area to access this week. Are you sure they're even still back there? Despite their absence, you all wake up on Sunday morning from strange dreams. What to make of it?
You can only hope it's not a bad omen for the rest of the week.]
(( Don't forget to turn in your AC for Week 1, submit your memory regain, and turn in your Benefactor threads! ))

She doesn't come out for a couple more hours.
When she does, she's dressed very differently, sans any stains but the skirt still looks a little threadbare around the edges. Despite the slight redness to her eyes, she looks more composed and ready to face the day. Her first port of call is are the items that have been delivered over night, one of which appears to be... an odd looking roomba with a knife taped to the top of it that immediately begins running into her ankles at such an angle that she avoids being stabbed... but it definitely looks annoying.
Later, in the cafeteria she's managed to heft the items to a table facing away from where... everything had happened yesterday, and is busying herself with an array of items, sorting them into piles. So far only the book and the lip balm seem to have gone in a "to keep" pile. The roomba is now stationary by her ankles... but it might charge at you if you approach her too quickly. Who knows. It seems... protective?
Towards the end of the day, she's outside the storage room.]
Stay there--no, I said stay--! [The roomba eventually stops outside the room, beeps, and remains motionless. With a deep, and determined sigh, Miki spins on her heel and enters the storage room. She looks around, and then starts stacking the remaining boxes into a slightly wobbly looking stack, and clambers up it until she's in front of the camera.
Very pointedly, she raises both hands up to the camera so they can be seen, and then folds them behind her back. She is not touching the camera in any way. Once she's satisfied she's made her point clear, she tentatively starts peering at the camera from different angles - she's looking for something. But she isn't quite sure what.]

Is that a roomba with a knife all stuck up on it?

--Hey! No, leave her alone!!
[HE WHIRR AT YOU, ROXY.]
no subject
Whoah there, buddy! I'm a friend.
no subject
Don't worry, Miki to the rescue. She hops down the boxes and in front of the roomba, who halts the death charge in favour of swinging around and bumping her foot with the non-stabby part of its body.]
I said leave her alone!
[It beep! Though it doesn't sound regretful, but it is a machine, I guess.]

[BEEP!]
-- it was with the items I found this morning. It just... rolled out and started following me everywhere.

And he’s just gonna whip her up a zebra hot chocolate and bring it to her as an offering.]
The Stand, huh? I didn’t expect you to be a King fan.
no subject
Thank you!
Oh, have you read his books? I read a translated version and decided I wanted to try the original version for a challenge.
[What a nerd.]
no subject
My grandmother's a big fan. I read Carrie when it came out when I was in middle school. Turned out to be better preparation for high school than I thought it would be.
no subject
[She makes a sharp cascading motion with her hands. Almost like a motion for something falling from the ceiling down.] Pig's blood, wasn't it?
[y i k e s]
If that was good preparation for highschool, I'm almost worried about asking what it was like for you...
no subject
About the same as it is for anyone who doesn't fit in in a small town.
no subject
well. The world ended.]
Not good then. Was it better once your graduated?

Storage Room
Ms. Miki? What are you doing?
[That box stack looks kind of unsafe?!]
no subject
Let's go outside.
[Clearly, in no way is she up to anything that could be considered notable by the Overseers. Not in the slightest, nope.]
no subject
R-right. [He'll look over at her curiously, but he'll let her take the lead when she feels they're safe.]
no subject
When they're outside, Miki glances up and down the corridor - not that it matters if someone overhears, but she is trying to keep this on the down-low for now.]
I'm examining the cameras.
[Obviously.]
... There's a few things I want to know. If there are any fakes around the place - you know like when people put up fake cameras to trick robbers? - so I need to check one I know is real to see any differences.
And then I want to know if there's a way to disrupt them. I know we can't mess with them, but if there's a... weakness? In their design? Maybe we could use that to our advantage. [One small flaw:] I'm not great with electronics, but hopefully someone here is...
no subject
I see... if you plan on examining the other cameras, please allow me to help. I have limited experience with electronics as well, but... I want to do what I can.
[And it's infinitely better to do this instead of just thinking about everything that's happened so far.]

[....Zombina's gonna get shanked by an roomba, isn't she?]
no subject
The roomba immediately whirrs into action, almost running over Miki's foot in the process, duct taped blade pointed forward. This roomba.]
H-hey, I told you to stop that!!
[Incoming roomba.]
no subject
[SHE DID NOT SEE THAT. Excuse Zombina as she hastily tries to scramble out of the way. The bikini-clad zombie makes to get ontop of the nearest chair. YOU CAN'T GET HER NOW ROOMBA. Just.... circle around her chair like a hungry shark.]
Where did this thing come from!?
no subject
Why the bikini?]It was with the things outside my room this morning. It's... uh. I'm not sure why it's like this, really...
no subject
Geez, it's like ya got your own personal guard roomba now!
[Zombina tries to get down... and NOPE. Promptly gets back up on the chair. Don't need loose a foot today.]
It really doesn't want me near ya, huh? Noooot that I don't blame it, considering what I am.

Why's that tiny robot got a knife taped to it?
[ asking the important questions here ]
no subject
I have no idea.
[Good hustle, guys.]
But I'm not really willing to try taking the knife off... [It's uh. Really scrappy without someone trying to take away the only weapon it seems to have.]
