Week 2
[The Champions have now been here for one week, and while the dud of a first incentive didn't tempt anybody, the fact remains obvious: a lack of murder isn't going to be the thing that gets you out of here.
Blaze Dudely and Rox have not made a reappearance since Tuesday, leaving you to your own devices for the moment. That door they entered and exited through remains locked, and there is no new area to access this week. Are you sure they're even still back there? Despite their absence, you all wake up on Sunday morning from strange dreams. What to make of it?
You can only hope it's not a bad omen for the rest of the week.]
(( Don't forget to turn in your AC for Week 1, submit your memory regain, and turn in your Benefactor threads! ))

When they're outside, Miki glances up and down the corridor - not that it matters if someone overhears, but she is trying to keep this on the down-low for now.]
I'm examining the cameras.
[Obviously.]
... There's a few things I want to know. If there are any fakes around the place - you know like when people put up fake cameras to trick robbers? - so I need to check one I know is real to see any differences.
And then I want to know if there's a way to disrupt them. I know we can't mess with them, but if there's a... weakness? In their design? Maybe we could use that to our advantage. [One small flaw:] I'm not great with electronics, but hopefully someone here is...

I see... if you plan on examining the other cameras, please allow me to help. I have limited experience with electronics as well, but... I want to do what I can.
[And it's infinitely better to do this instead of just thinking about everything that's happened so far.]
no subject
Limited is probably more than I have. I'll let you know if I find anything.
[Although.]
I wonder if there's a weak spot. If there was an "accidental" power surge or something to knock out some of the visuals...
no subject
[But messing with the power, huh...]
It's possible but... I fear that may not be an option if everything is on the same grid as the life-preservation systems. It would be better to get a second opinion on this, however.
[He's no expert and it'd be more likely that he fucks things up worse so... Hmm. What else might they be able to do?]
Some electronics may be affected by magnets as well, although I do not know if we have the materials needed for that.
no subject
... R-right, there's no point if everyone shuts down and we can't breathe. And come to think of it, there's probably a secondary power source? Or... I hope there is. Like a back up.
[It's not like they can just pop up solar panels here or anything. Well. Not... easily.]
Something around here must have magnets in though. It might be worth snooping around and seeing.
no subject
[Because no one wants to asphyxiate in space probs?? ...He looks a little thoughtful about that, though.]
Yes. It may be worth the effort to ask and see if anyone received any magnets over the week as well.
no subject
Hopefully. Unless they have oxygen tanks or suits or something as a failsafe...
Even if they haven't there must be something that uses magnets around this place somewhere. We just need to figure out what and where it's being kept.
no subject
It's possible. But still, they would need a means of escape if they could not fix the problem in time. Maybe if we can find them then...
[yes let's risk suffocating to find an escape shuttle or something, this is a good plan obviously]
Well, magnets tend to stick to refrigerators, correct? If that is the case, then perhaps we could find something if we dismantle it.
no subject
... Would that be counted as breaking one of the rules? I don't think they specified refrigerators but they also said they can change the rules at any time.
[That and it'd be kind of obvious if they were taking apart a fridge for magnets and then there was magnetic interference with the cameras.]
no subject
[welp, back to square one? hmm... maybe they're thinking something too elaborate though?]
If disabling the cameras is too difficult, then what about a smokescreen?
[what if they made a weed smokescreen]
no subject
... That's not a bad idea. There's gotta be a way to make one "accidentally" with ingredients or... um. The MRE heaters? Some of them give off steam for a little while. Set up enough of them around a camera and, bam, smokescreen!
