THE GREAT TELEVISION PARTY

[After what Arianna will probably insist on referring to as a series of Shady Dealings, all the Champions will find notes on their doors, as well as posted generally around the mall, or maybe on Dame Abigail as she wanders about and occasionally careens into walls. A few may even have Arianna come to them directly, if she happens to run into them or if she thinks they're particularly likely to ignore the notes. But for most people, they'll see a note:]

[Arianna spends most of the afternoon baking, enlisting the help of the usual suspects wherever she can, and sure enough, at 7:00 she's waiting in her kiosk with the door open. Most of her stupid gacha crap has been moved somewhere (probably Bounce House, considering) to make space, and in their place she has cookies, candy, and basically whatever junk food she was able to come up with. At one end of the kiosk is the television that Ardyn and the Doctor modified, which of course is the real purpose of this little adventure. There are still plushies everywhere, so everyone should be able to make themselves a spot to get comfortable.

[Even with all the pranks, it's impossible that Xander DIDN'T see one of the notes. So he's there to talk to Arianna around a quarter till.

At least he doesn't look upset? He barely gives the tv a glance, likely assuming, as planned, that they intend to play more games]

[If she's nervous about potentially being found out, she doesn't show it. Which probably indicates that she isn't, and in fact that it probably hasn't even occurred to her.]

Because Jane is coming to this party in her God Tier pajamas, with the fruit cupcakes from earlier, and a little green cat-eared roomba named Joey who immediately takes off beeping to circle this other roomba. Jane herself, at least, looks like she's ready to get cozy.]

Goodness, I hope we'll be able to fit everyone inside...

[Dame Abigail apparently would like a friend, because she beeps back in what sounds like a cheerful tone but maybe we're just projecting.

More importantly(?), Arianna would like all the friends. And a cupcake.]

Sir Xander wondered the same thing. It will be somewhat "cozy," but I believe we will manage.

[All work and no play makes Ardyn a suspicious individual. So at some point he'd be shuffling a deck of tarot cards, while consulting a book on the matter clearly borrowed from Reading Comet.]

So, who wants to hear their futures or whatever madness this is supposed to be for? [Ardyn squinted at a page in the book, frowning; well, he just had to be interesting enough to keep Xander's attention, if he was going to be running surveillance closely.]

[Did you really think the Doctor would stay away from something like this? At least tonight he's somewhat appropriately attired, in something not even eye-searing.]

I brought some things from Nebula, if anyone wants. That's traditional at this kind of thing, right? Well. That and prank calling. But I don't think we have a way to call Xander, at least not yet, and mind you, I've been trying to find a way to remote into that tablet. Pretty sure he'd just know it was us anyway. Maybe we could knock on his door and run away? Probably still know it was us.

[ Choromatsu is here in his frog kigurumi and he brought along some snacks to contribute to the ones Arianna gathered. Some of them are more like dinner though, like cat shaped onigiri and devilled eggs.

...Anyone from R2 who attended the week 3 Thursday party though might want to be careful with those.

[A... sleepover? Fukawa looks at the invitation for a long time. Honestly she's probably one of the last to actually arrive, and she does about everything to blend in and not be terribly noticed. But... she does want to be here.

...she just doesn't know the first thing about hanging out with friends. Or sleepovers. And there's no time to research it.
