[he slept off and on last night, knowing tomorrow was the day everything would really be over for him- but he wakes up suddenly to the news that someone's bought him a reprieve in exchange for the fellow champion he trusted the most. he makes his way up to the top floor, mind an emptily spinning wheel, but the smell- he couldn't with Zombina and he can't do it here in front of everyone either. he takes another floor down- he'll go back up when everyone's started to leave- but for now? he doesn't even really know where he is, just knows how it should and shouldn't look after he put everything away after making that coat.

What is obvious here? Is he going to need to book it out again in horror?]

[It's probably a good thing Bolton made her leave the actual scene of the crime, because she's distracted enough by what's happened to hit the entirely wrong floor when she goes through the teleporter, and ends up here.]

[Karamatsu had hurried after Akira when they heard Bolton screaming, afraid to let him go on his own- but the moment Karamatsu began to smell the blood in the hallway, he couldn’t. He just couldn’t come near, and thankfully Akira understands his waiting back, shuddering as he waits to hear who it was.

And it’s Max.

And Karamatsu just...he can’t cry, he can’t scream, but what he does do is curse darkly under his breath.

Then he has to leave before he gets too upset, finding somewhere to just...look, since that’s what we’ve been doing every damn unfortunate week. The Greenhouse was relaxing before surely nothing is fucked up in here hahaha
