week 2
[The second week in the Champion Excellence Program kicks off on a somber note. Chitanda, Toby, the Griffin- all three of them gone, two of them in one fell swoop. If anyone thinks to check the profiles on their P.I.P.s they will find that the dearly departed Champions' profile photos have been greyed out.
Right on the dot at 7 am the mechanical woman's voice chimes to awaken the remaining champions on Sunday morning, as she has for the past week. After the initial wake-up call though there's a new message tacked on:]
Congratulations, Champions! By surviving your first trial, you have unlocked the second floor of the ship. A new mini map has been added to your P.I.P.! To access the second floor please stand on the teleporter and select the floor you wish to be teleported to.
[The new floor isn't the only thing floating around the ship though, at least metaphorically. When the Champions are awakened they have regained one new memory from the ones they've lost. Starting again on Sunday, as well, Jamie and Bolton will be back to their usual office hours in their usual locations.]
[ooc: welcome to week 2, everyone! Check-in has begun and don't forget to submit your memory regains!]

[Bolton claps his hands and rubs them together.]
First of all, we have this- the baby carrier locks on, and it's got an electronic lock that will automatically disengage at the end of the second night cycle from now. Don't worry, there's no wires or plastic, so it'll be plenty comfortable to sleep in.

[But it isn't like he can defy it. Put that carrier on him and give him the baby, Bolton. He is already scheming revenge for when he finally can strike back at the Overseers.
Togami is taking off the bedsheets for a moment, though]

This little guy is a marvel of modern technology. Not only does it cry for food, care, and attention like a real baby, but it grades your performance. Now, sure, you could turn it off, but that would mean accepting that the scion of the Togami line couldn't even tend to the needs of a robot.
[Once he settles the baby into the carrier - with a recorded coo from the rosy-cheeked, blond-haired, blue-eyed plastic baby - he adds a small diaper bag with extra onesies and a plastic bottle and pacifier.]
I won't patronize you by explaining the mechanics of it. If you have any questions or problems, come to my office hours.
And now...piece number two! By a different friend, this is... well, you can tell.
[And on goes the cone of shame.]
And the third thing is... Well, you'll figure it out after Night Time.
[From 10 pm to 7 am, Togami's PIP will make a harsh staticky noise for approximately 1-2 minutes.]

It takes him like half a minute to take a decision. Togami takes the baby, flips it over until he finds the switch, and turns off the baby, all while looking straight at Bolton]
Byakuya Togami doesn't tend to the needs of anything or anyone except himself, and that's enough.
[Robot baby who looks just like him? Pah. However...Togami doesn't leave Togaminime anywhere. Instead he tucks it back into the carrier as if he hadn't just turned it off. He also takes the diaper bag and everything inside, slinging it over his shoulder]
Am I allowed to keep these objects once this ridiculous punishment is over?
no subject
You're free to keep them if you want. They'll still fasten, but they won't lock again like they are now.

I'm leaving.
[There he goes, unaware of the restless night he'll have, wearing the cone of shame, carrying a diaper bag and showing the head of a doll peeking through the bedsheets. What a ridiculous Wednesday this is turning out to be!]
