Week 2

[The second week in the Champion Excellence Program kicks off on a somber note. Chitanda, Toby, the Griffin- all three of them gone, two of them in one fell swoop. If anyone thinks to check the profiles on their P.I.P.s they will find that the dearly departed Champions' profile photos have been greyed out.

Right on the dot at 7 am the mechanical woman's voice chimes to awaken the remaining champions on Sunday morning, as she has for the past week. After the initial wake-up call though there's a new message tacked on:]

Congratulations, Champions! By surviving your first trial, you have unlocked the second floor of the ship. A new mini map has been added to your P.I.P.! To access the second floor please stand on the teleporter and select the floor you wish to be teleported to.

[The new floor isn't the only thing floating around the ship though, at least metaphorically. When the Champions are awakened they have regained one new memory from the ones they've lost. Starting again on Sunday, as well, Jamie and Bolton will be back to their usual office hours in their usual locations.]

Sunday Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday

[ooc: welcome to week 2, everyone! Check-in has begun and don't forget to submit your memory regains!]

It would make more sense to place it by the eating establishment [diner is the word you're looking for, spacehog] if there was a great deal to throw away. We haven't seen anyone preparing the food. Could it be an automated process? I don't think that would produce much waste to warrant it. And if it was for the whole of the station, it would be better placed in a level devoted to maintenance.

Right and if there were more floors, a chute leading towards the compactor would definitely be better. As it is... [C'mon guys, this is obviously going to be a murder site.]

Do we know if this floor is higher or lower than the first floor? Is it being numbered from the bottom up, or the top down? It seems clear that the courtroom must be...bottom-most floor.
tasteslikesurvival: (...what?)

I'm not even sure. You'd think it should be below the diner, though, and it's on the same floor.

And even if there were windows, there aren't any objects close enough to be able to tell if they're higher or lower. The only way to tell right now would be to try and get inside the walls or the ventilation system. [Another rule break~ Man someone's gonna have to start testing all these rules out now that sleeping has been...tested.]

Sure but you'll have to ask someone else to do that. I'm not going to risk my neck by getting into the walls. [Shadow, you're such an enabler.]

I wasn't asking you to. I know I'd be small enough to fit. [Are you sure, bro, because your quills don't lie back and also your head is huge I mean look at that thing...] There are other rules I'd like to test out first, though. Someone has to, if only to test the limits of the Overseers. It just has to be at the right time...
tasteslikesurvival: (So about that.)

I'd be careful, if I were you. There's no point in pushing your limits for nothing.
