Week 1

[With the introduction to the relationship experiment and their overseeing hosts done with, the Champions are left to their own devices to explore the first floor of the mansion as they please. Cece and Kip will pop-up every once in a while to chit-chat but for the most part they're somewhere inaccessible.

Each morning the Champions are awakened promptly at 7 am by PAL's even, almost laid back voice announcing the time and each evening at 10 pm to announce when the kitchen is closing for the night. Unlike the Overseers, he doesn't seem to be one much for conversation.

I've been around enough people in my life to know that at any one moment someone can snap. They could be the nicest person in the world, and tomorrow they are making headlines that they stabbed their spouse to death with a spoon. Even with reality TV you run the risk of someone going off of their rocker and causing physical harm to someone else.

[In short? Everyone is capable of murder.]

I might love people. I might love being alive. But I am not naive enough not to know that we all run the risk of death in this place now that it's been introduced as a way to get out.

...Y'know, that's pessimistic as fuck, but I dig it? I mean I don't plan on murdering anyone to get out of here, because I'm not a crazy person, but that's not a bad way of looking at things. And, fuck, knowing my luck, I'll probably get killed in some stupid, easily preventable way, and then you can tell my ghost 'I told you so'.

Ah, you like the color blue. One of my faves, too. [As for handsome face?] You're a little too mountain man looking for me, but I can see where people might call you handsome. But hey, ghosts look just like the people they were alive, unless you're hiding something weird.

...Huh. [He rubs his fuzzy face. This train of thought momentarily distracts him from 'actually my ghost will look like a white suit of military-grade armor in need of a robot body to pilot', thank god.] Maybe I could use a shave. [When's the last time he did that? Several bodies ago.] Didn't think I'd have so much hair. [And he fluffs that up, too. He's so...fluffy. And scruffy.]

They might have something in those rooms Kip mentioned. Maybe you'll get lucky and there's a shaving kit. One of the others here might even know how to cut hair.

[Some people are into bears...] Cutting hair's easy, just take a pair of scissors and cut. Maybe it gets a lil lopsided, but--ehhhh, shit, normally I wouldn't care cuz--helmet on. Basically all the time. But cameras. Gotta look presentable.

I also have a super straight friend who would love to be on this show, because, not to sound like a fucking dog, but do you know how many women we've seen at our outpost in the past couple years? One. One. I hope that fucker sees me on here and gets mad jealous, but trust me, you are way better off that I'm here instead of Tucker.

Donut's the one that speaks in double entendres all the time, and some days I'm not so sure he does it without realizing it. Tucker's the one that does it completely on purpose, and worse, and anything that sounds the least bit like it could be sexy, he just appears, like Batman from the shadow. Just to say 'bow chicka bow wow'.

I'm saying you wouldn't be safe, but you'd be way more annoyed.
