Friday morning after CECE awakens everyone with her usual cheery announcement over their PIPs it's dead quiet, the oppressive threat to their homes still lingering in the air. There's still hours to go before the deadline but will someone really have the guts to go through with it in such small quarters?

[No other wounds, but it looks like his prosthetic hand is clenched around something.]

[As long as this fake arm's not gonna try strangling him the way the last one he looked at did. Metal'd probably hurt a lot more than plastic did.]

[Nah, his metal arm's just that. An arm. It does have a cool-looking skull design on it, though.

The fingers come apart and reveal a small red bead in his palm.]

[Of the things he might've expected, that was pretty low on the list. What kind of bead are we talking here, glass, plastic, some kind of rock or crystal... and how small is small, exactly.]

[It's pretty big for a bead - bigger than a pony bead. Also, it has a clip that splits it in half along a hinge on one side, like a little mouth.]

[Nine's gonna carefully open that, anything inside the 'mouth'?]

[If there's nothing else of note about the bead, he's gonna tuck it into the cuff of his unitard for safe keeping and very carefully try lifting the body to see if there's anything underneath.]

[That's a lot of dead weight there buddy. The meat inside shifts when lifted and a small peek of intestine makes a break for freedom.

[Okay, he's just gonna set the body back down carefully and do that thing where you close a corpse's eyes, if they're not already. Or rigor-mortis'd open, which would be pretty creepy.]
