Friday morning after CECE awakens everyone with her usual cheery announcement over their PIPs it's dead quiet, the oppressive threat to their homes still lingering in the air. There's still hours to go before the deadline but will someone really have the guts to go through with it in such small quarters?

Or is the better question has someone already gone through with it?]

[He might be the Ultimate Life, but he still needs sleep. Still, he's gotten less than usual last night, wondering if anyone's going to die. After all, these rooms are not the most secure, and too many people here are on the list he's been making who might do it.

But nothing seems unusual at first, not between CECE and the people in the halls. Shadow's going to go relax and bounce around the zero g room and try to sort out his thoughts in peace. (God knows he won't get peace anywhere, but he can dream, right?)]

[Margulis has slept poorly since the motive announcement, and the night before the deadline was even worse.
The first thing he does on the wakeup call is head to the kitchen for some coffee. Wouldn't it be nice if someone was already dead and he could stop worrying?]

[Okay then he's gonna take the coffee his player is assuming exists and sit in the Communal Dining Hall for a few minutes and try to figure out what to try today. Maybe he can pry up the controls in the Zero G room or something.]

[Don't mind Shepard, he's walking through the private quarters corridor. Namely because he just got up after falling in and out of nightmarish sleep the whole night. He's tired, and hoping nothing nasty happens on the way to the kitchen. Like him tripping over a body. Or suddenly sharks.]

[Apparently it's been long enough for habits to develop, because first thing in the morning Ricky heads to the dining hall.]

[When Shadow gets to the zero g room he'll notice something odd- someone left the gravity off all night. The controls are right by the door though so that's an easy fix.]

[Someone else also went for the coffee and will be joining him in heading for the dining hall.]

It's far too quiet for the circumstances...

[Seems like a waste, but maybe someone just forgot about it when they were done last. He doesn't touch the controls, though, seeing as he came here to do some floating and acrobatics and generally show off like a jackass tbh, so he'll push off from the doorway for momentum's sake and is there a floating body or what?]

Low. It's too close to the deadline to continue to hope for an alternative. At this point...it's down to following their demands, or else hope their threat is a bluff.

[well, he's not going to immediately crash into a dead body if that's what we're worried about but when he pushes off he'll feel a splash of something thick and cold on his face.]
