[The week at the space station has trickled by slowly. Friday morning after CECE awakens everyone with her usual cheery announcement over their PIPs it's dead quiet, the oppressive threat to their homes still lingering in the air. There's still hours to go before the deadline but will someone really have the guts to go through with it in such small quarters?

Or is the better question has someone already gone through with it?]

[ WELL, awesome. Awesome. Guess where Barney's not going. Anywhere near a dead body, that's for sure. He was kind of hoping... it'd turn out to be a hoax. Haha, super funny, just kidding!! It sure doesn't feel like a hoax anymore but if he stays in his room he's probably gonna go nuts so sure, let's try the hallway. As long as it's not in the Zero-G room, he can totally do this! Right??

What mysteries await Barney in the Hallway? ]

[At first glance the hallway looks pretty unremarkable as it always does. A long stretch of walls on both sides, doors on one and vast amount of outer space on the other with a series of individual short railings on both sides in the unlikely event of a ship-wide gravity malfunction.

But there is something off about the railings.]

[ Oh dear. Well, given that Barney's looking for anything to distract him from a dead-freaking-body, he'll go ahead and have closer look at the railings. What seems to be amiss here?

Please say it's not blood..... ]

[No, the hallway is blessedly blood-free but it looks like one of the railings is missing.]

[ Well, that'll do it. Barney examines the place where the railing used to be. Does the railing look like it was forced off the wall or is there some kind of trick to removing these? Say, what would happen if Barney tried to remove another railing...? ]

[There's no signs it was forced off and Barney trying to remove another one just results in sore arms. There are small holes in the wall near at the end of each railing though, like there was something keeping the missing rail in place that were removed.]

[ Good thing no one's around to watch Barney embarrass himself! He pulls back and rolls his shoulders a bit, then leans back in to have a look at the holes. He shoots a quick look at one of the other railings. Would it be fair to guess those holes once contained screws? ]

The hell?

[ Seriously, who is that down for murder that they take all the time to unscrew a pipe!? ]

[That would be a valid hypothesis, Barney!]

[ Guess it's time to look for a screwdriver, oh wait did you think he'd be going to see the body, NOPE, bye, he is good with this and the mental image of someone getting impaled on a hand-rail.
