[In the morning (...or Ardyn's morning which was actually early afternoon), he spent some time in Prism. At first he was just looking over the landscapes again now that Xander wasn't here, but eventually he thought to sneak a small sketchbook and a few pencils into some inside pocket of his vest. For science.]

[Later on, once Xander was appropriately re-glittered and Ardyn was satisfied he was more than likely taking another shower, there was an airhorn noise followed by:]

Meeting time, food court, let's go. Time is of the essence, grab whoever's lagging about or I'll just keep making that noise!

[...Are we sure 'kill someone or spend forever with Ardyn' isn't the incentive?]

MEETING 2: MAYBE WE WON'T FUCK IT UP

[Once most everyone was gathered Ardyn was right back to business and as professional as he got, airhorn in a red thigh holster just in case.]

We need to get this done efficiently and quickly, because distracting Xander like this won't keep working forever. In other words: no more childish bickering, we have to make this meeting count and put ourselves on some semblance of the same page.

We have to consolidate whatever information we've been able to discern of Lady Consequence while Xander's busy, so I propose that should be first priority. We'll also likely have to discuss the motive at some point, but that's a matter of slightly less sensitive information overall.

...I appreciate your clever interpretation of why in any god's name you might have gotten that, but perhaps it's a bit less subtle than we need. Junpei's idea of a blanket fort and possibly a console might be fine.

[Pyrrha's here, with her... boon 'deactivated' and put away on her waist. She looks... better then yesterday, though that isn't saying a lot.]

From what I've heard and seen, they seem to know when something is happening to us at any given time.

I've noticed this as well, but there's something which has begun to bother me the more I dwell upon it. A few days after-- ['Yuuri and Thomasin' was not how he wanted to finish that sentence.] ...after our first trial, she contacted me with a manner of written speech some of you might call 'archaic'. But this more recent time, after she'd given instructions, her phrasing was far more casual.

...I of all people am not one to assume anything based on speech patterns given the myriad ways I have caught myself talking lately, but it still caught my attention.

I do kind of wonder about the motives in general, and why some people get off relatively light some weeks. Maybe Church is onto something. Maybe the game is rigged towards certain outcomes, and if so, we might want to think about what they get out of doing that.

I also want to point out that, as far as I remember between last time and this one, the trials and investigations seem engineered to always happen on the same day of the week, even when a time limit to the motive isn't specified. I want to know how the hell they're doing it.

Indeed, I hesitate to call the timing of matters sheer coincidence. And I'm rather in agreement that the motives are...questionable. I told Church myself that I think there to be nothing I would kill for here.

Which, in the interest of full disclosure, is not a way of saying I am remotely above murder for all manner of reasons. I simply can imagine nothing I could be offered worth more than killing Xander and his superiors.

Right; it's a bit difficult to explain, [because what is cable tv in caeldonia] but the concept is that we can receive broadcast signals and Lady Consequence or whoever I spoke to implied this would serve some kind of purpose for us.

I dumped glitter on him again and he implied he'd be altering the rules in response. We'll more than likely have to end up getting creative.

I have heard some people here have received some machines that seem to create disguises rather conveniently. If, somehow, one of those machines can be used to disguise the TV in some way, that could work.

If those can disguise an inanimate object, of course.
