We're going to have to introduce you to TV. I got a bunch of tapes out of the prize machine, but I can't find a VHS player anywhere.

There were DVD players in Universe. Is that similar?

Similar in function, but for newer technology.

Could you not simply use one of those, then?

It's a compatibility issue. VHS tapes won't work with anything else. I wish it were that simple, though. Maybe they have one of those converter things...

When we got it working, it just seemed like basic entertainment. I haven't risked checking again just yet.

At the very least, we'll get a good insight on the culture here. Believe me, TV shows can be very important.
