Now that Xander’s appropriately distracted, we need to keep him that way. Make him so sick of looking at us that he keeps a looser surveillance.

I received information presumably from our Lady Consequence on how to modify a television in Lightshow; thanks to the Doctor’s help, it can now receive outside signals. We can’t let him discover that, because no matter the good lady’s identity it may prove indispensable.

Which he’ll be less inclined to watch if looking at us annoys the living hell out of him. Besides, he’s going to be washing that glitter out all day.

...There are cameras. There have always been cameras. He probably watched you fuck with a tv, and why would he stop watching them just because you went crazy? He might hole himself up in his office and watch us harder so he doesn't have to come out.

If he saw us doing it, don’t you think he’d have been likely to intervene? Even if it doesn’t violate direct rules, that’s an advantage he can’t afford to overlook.

I mean that we have some mysterious faceless presumable ally that told us how to pick up space cable.

We refer to her as Lady Consequence. She sends messages to our PIPs. She first contacted me to warn us of the nighttime security guards, and has sent messages on occasion since then.

At least it’s something! I’ve no damn idea if we can trust her, but what if we can use this to determine where we are and send a signal back somehow to get out of here?!

Oh it takes days to fully get glitter off. It has a way of hiding and staying where you don't want it to.

Cable. Nothing impressive, but better than the nothing we had. She seemed convinced keeping an eye on it will help.

We have to be cautious; that’s the point of keeping Xander distracted. Additionally maybe we can angle the screen away from the cameras and hook a console to it, so it looks relatively like you’re just playing a game.

Play video games in a blanket fort. Classic sleepover.

It won't stop whoever's above Xander from seeing us and this, but if outfoxing him is part of the game they want us to play, it's not like I'm complaining.

Right. We can’t assume this has all been done in total secrecy, but right now the goal is keeping it from Xander.

I also volunteer to throw things against the wall of his office all day. Does anyone have a superball?

I'm fairly sure Xander isn't the only one watching, as proven by this Lady Consequence person. If a person that's seemingly outside of this mall is watching and contacting us, that opens the possibility other people are watching as well -- without good intentions.
