Clarith was preparing to... do something which certainly would have led to her death.

Lady Consequence contacted Dame Touko and myself, urging us to report to her location, and we were able to stop her.

.............I attempted to claim my own life last Thursday evening, is what she means. To claim the motive in a way that would satisfy the negation of anyone else being put in one of these death games, but not in a way that would see all of you killed. Touko and Arianna both found me and stopped me before I could.
