[The Champions have had their first deliberate murders this week, and just like that, Prompto and Lunafreya are gone. Slaine followed them shortly after, however most people may feel about that.

This time, C.E.C.E.'s addition to the morning announcement probably doesn't come as much of a surprise:]

Congratulations, Champions! By surviving your second trial, you have unlocked the third floor of the ship. A new mini map has been added to your P.I.P.! To access the second floor please stand on the teleporter and select the floor you wish to be teleported to.

[In addition to the new floor, the Champions will find that they've gained another memory this week.]

[it's a terrible day. But, this time, Korra doesn't wake up screaming. Instead, she just wakes up groggy, aware of how she didn't sleep well. But, hey, at least? She knows how she got her haircut.

So, she goes to the pool. She's considering destroying the controls for the room. Someone should probably stop her. Because if she destroys them for the pool, she's definitely going after the anti-gravity room next. And that could be a disaster.

After that. she finds her way to the third floor, in particular... the holodeck.

She cycles through some locations. The south pole, the tree of time, the swamp, before finally settling on Air Temple Island. This image has Naga sleeping in the background, and Korra... just breaks down, crying. She'll cry for awhile, before finally settling in to try meditating.

Unfortunately, that doesn't work well at all and she jumps suddenly with a start, breathing heavily... as if she hadn't been breathing at all up until that moment]

[On Sunday... Osomatsu isn't around much, honestly. He had a lot to drink the night before so he spends most of Sunday in his room, sleeping and trying to ignore the massive hangover he was suffering from.

But on Monday, he feels.. mostly okay. He's officially out of booze so he decides to explore the new floor in search of a bar. Of course with minors here, it's unlikely but.. he wants to hope, okay.

So early in the morning Osomatsu can be found at the Arcade, because who doesn't like a good video game first thing in the morning? He's sitting on one of those racing car machines, racing NPCs for the most part until someone decides to walk by and he drags them into the car next to him.

Later, he's at the Death Orb Zone, playing around on the trampolines. It's a lot more fun than floating around in the Zero-G room, especially after... what happened there...

Finally, he spends a good chunk of the evening in the Holodeck. The scenery never changes -- as he walks along the streets of an old looking neighborhood. It looks like the streets of Japan but.. not modern. In fact, everything is even in black and white, straight out of an old cartoon but it doesn't seem to bother him at all. He visits by an oden cart, stops by a fish market, and eventually lands at a house.. but he doesn't go inside.

He can't. Not yet.]

[Osomatsu's spending most of the day today taking care of a massive hangover from the night before, but at some point during the head he heads to the second floor to get some food from the diner. That's when he walks by the pool, and notices Korra in there looking like she's about to do something.. and it has him a litttttttle worried. Just a tad.]

Uh.. Korra-chan?

[akira doesn't wake up screaming. But he almost wishes he could. No, he didn't scream in the memory. He had been too shocked, listening to his friends howl and cry and vanish bit by bit in blood red rain.

Morgana whimpering by his side.

"Is this my fault? For leading you all there?"

Akira had assured him it wasn't, but it didn't stop the tears in his best friend's eyes. He thought cats physically couldn't cry...

Then he was alone, staring up at the distorted sky on his back, people literally stepping over him as he too,
dissappered.

No one cared. He wasn't dead. He was unmade.

He didn't scream, but he did run out of his room in a near panic, likely nearly running people over in his dash to the men's showers to up end his guts.

Later, once he's cleaned up he heads back to Room 5, slamming the door behind him]

CECE! Answer me!

[he's there most of the day. But in the early evening he can be found in the holodeck. If one peeks inside they can see a wide dusty attic room, set up as a makeshift bedroom. If they step into the room the smell of coffee is sudden and all encompassing, along with a weaker under tone of curry. There's shelves full of nicknacks, a large standing plant, a familiar TV and famicom next to a couch. A desk covered in tools and bits of half finished projects and plastic stars glowing softly on the ceiling.

And Akira on the fold out futon, a black cat with white socks and muzzle in his lap. ]

[ the pool is yuri's home for obvious reasons--he needs that ice rink dammit--and the instant he sees korra at the pool looking at the controls, he's going to walk up to her, assuming she doesn't know what that button does. ]

Press it and it'll turn the pool into an ice rink.

[ today is not yuri's day.

other than the fact that prompto, slaine, and lunafreya are dead, he wakes up with his heart aching. victor nikiforov is now yuuri katsuki's coach. yuri plisetsky lost to that whiny katsudon. he is bitter, and it's with a heavy heart that he goes to the pool to immediately get back to skating. this time, he isn't calm and relaxed on the rink; they're filled with frustration and yuri looks...a little dejected, more upset than anything.

eventually, he'll go to check out the holodeck. inside of the holodeck, he'll be at his grandfather's house, his ballet studio, and finally...hasetsu. when hasetsu appears, yuri starts grumble, and he leaves with a deep scowl on his face.

then...yuri enters slaine's room. he's in there...for a while. he emerges with a bunch of papers in his hands, and if there's a letter slaine's addressed to you, he'll hand it over. ]

Here.

[ finally, yuri's back in prompto's room. the door's halfway open but he's just sitting in the corner of the room scrolling on his phone again. ]

... What if no one could murder anyone here again?

... No.

[Prompto died there, just because Slaine pressed a button. That button.]

...What are you doing?

[ he's onto you... ]

Then they'd just... murder someone somewhere else.

[Osomatsu steps into the room a little more, and eyes the controls.]

You're not thinking of doing something stupid, are you?

[hey look, the fire knife makes its first appearance]

It's not stupid to take away their options. It's not.

Luna and Prompto died here.

HEY!

[ yuri's gonna grab her wrist??? ]

Don't be stupid--you'll die! There's a rule against damaging property--what the fuck!

Someone died here! And we're going to keep letting them do this to us?!

Obeying their stupid rules because we're scared?!

But like.. what if you get in trouble? I mean.. you saw what happened to Chloe-chan.

I dunno if there's a rule against breaking their stuff but I wouldn't chance it.

I-I'm tired of being afraid of them and their stupid rules.

[fire knife is a go]

They let you break them if you're murdering someone. Guess it must not be that important to them.

O-okay, but that's only if you're doing what they want you to do! And unless you decide to stab me with that knife, then you're gonna get in trouble and I don't wanna watch someone else die again!

[she pauses, and then looks a little apologetic]

N-No, I'm not trying to force anything like that on you! I just... Osomatsu, what do we do? We can't keep going like this.

[It's funny how refreshing it is to not have the fate of the world hanging on card games, no magic, no monsters, no world domination or destruction. Just an old grudge and a story of revenge. And now...now everything is looking up. Onward and upward.

Which makes waking back up to this version of reality that much more depressing. But he pulls himself out of bed anyway, because he can't lie there and mope. That's not what he does, and not what anyone else should think him capable of.

The new floor is certainly eclectic. Obviously he spends quite a lot of time in the arcade, already attempting to get the high score on some of the games. This is more like it! This is...this is...a distraction, isn't it? And a waste of time? Damn it.

In the greenhouse, he can't help but poke around. There's even fresh fruit, and he picks a handful of blueberries just to see if it's real. (Relative realness, none of this is real after all.) They could live off this place, if this place meant for them to live.

The holodeck gives him pause. A simulation inside of a simulation? Isn't that getting a bit silly now? You all know what he's going to test this with, so if you see a giant realistic version of the costume he was wearing for a few days, it's okay, it's just holographic. ...And if you see a boy with ridiculous hair, a wicked smirk, and a purple-clad magician by his side, that's fine too.]

[It's hard not to notice when someone like Akira, green in the face, rushes past. And it's also hard not to put two and two together and think he might have remembered something awful. (Alternately, it's a hangover. por que no los dos)

He waits a short while outside the door, because he hardly is going to be of much help and isn't the hold back someone's hair type. But then he follows suit.]
