[The Champions have had their first deliberate murders this week, and just like that, Prompto and Lunafreya are gone. Slaine followed them shortly after, however most people may feel about that.

This time, C.E.C.E.'s addition to the morning announcement probably doesn't come as much of a surprise:]

Congratulations, Champions! By surviving your second trial, you have unlocked the third floor of the ship. A new mini map has been added to your P.I.P.! To access the second floor please stand on the teleporter and select the floor you wish to be teleported to.

[In addition to the new floor, the Champions will find that they've gained another memory this week.]

[ there we go. still, he needs to see her put that knife away. he squeezes onto her wrist, looking distressed-- ]

[if anything, it intensifies for a moment, like she's going to resist him-- she stares at the controls, hard.

She could do it. She could force them to come out. Then she could take them on.].

KORRA!

[ he's yelling, now, just like how he yelled at slaine during the trial. ]

Don't you dare--don't do this to yourself!

[ he's definitely panicking now. he saw chloe do it; he can't see it happen again. not to korra.

It was you who made me start caring about people here! If you hadn't talked to me, I wouldn't have opened up to Prompto or anyone else! I can't--

Korra starts, and like that, the knife disappears. There's still a part of her that wants, more than anything, to destroy everything about this stupid spaceship.

But she can't do that to Yuri, not after he's tried so hard.]

Yuri-- hey. Don't worry, I can handle myself.

[she offers a small smile, and then places a hand on his shoulder, before pulling him into a hug]

[quadjumps]

[ he's on the verge of tears now, and he doesn't let go, even after her knife's gone. ]

Prompto and Luna are gone--and fucking Slaine--you can't give yourself up, you hear me? You have to live!

[newcycle]

[that brings her back down to reality]

I won't. I won't, okay? We're going to survive.

[she rubs his back as she says that]

[ he had a big scare there... he's still shaking, but he finally lets go of her arm.

and then...he buries his face in his hands. ]

I hate this place.

[newcycle]

I do too.

So much. I don't know how much longer I can keep-- not fighting back.

And now, my memories are haunting me.

[ he wants to fight back, too, but-- ] I just don't know how.

[ at the mention of her memories, though: ] The ones you told me about earlier?

We have to break their rules. At some point...

[she sounds grim. but then...]

... Yeah. It's... like I'm seeing a ghost of myself from then.

That bitch has that gun. She could kill us all, if she really wanted to.

[newcycle]

[she sounds a little bitter... and then nods.]

Yeah. I thought it would go away after my latest memory, but it didn't...

[a grumble-- don't tell her what to do, yuri!!!]

[ he has no idea what that's like, but he realizes that korra's trauma is pretty damn bad.

[newcycle]

[she exhales in a puff of breath. It just sounds... like a lot.]

Why would I? Someone tried to kill you.

I don't know how I'd be able to handle that.

[she pauses and then looks around, before looking at him]

... I think you'd handle it pretty well.
