Week 4

Week 4

[The Champions have had their first deliberate murders this week, and just like that, Prompto and Lunafreya are gone. Slaine followed them shortly after, however most people may feel about that.

This time, C.E.C.E.'s addition to the morning announcement probably doesn't come as much of a surprise:]

Congratulations, Champions! By surviving your second trial, you have unlocked the third floor of the ship. A new mini map has been added to your P.I.P.! To access the second floor please stand on the teleporter and select the floor you wish to be teleported to.

[In addition to the new floor, the Champions will find that they've gained another memory this week.]

Sunday | Monday | Tuesday | Wednesday | Thursday

(( Welcome to Week 4! Don't forget to check in and submit your memory regains! Turn in your benefactor threads for sweet loot, too! ))

Did I stutter? A rod with a knife in it.

Stabbing rods aren’t a thing, Kaiba. I was trying to figure out if you meant like, a weird spear, or just a sharp stick.

A rod that you stab with. A secret knife stashed inside, like a sword cane. Someone extremely unstable was handling it for a time, and I'm shocked more people didn't get stabbed for it.

That isn’t anywhere near as good as a sword cane. Might as well just keep a switchblade in your pocket.

They didn't have switchblades in ancient Egypt. But I also really don't want to know why a supposedly magical item had to have a knife in it.
theundertaken: (out of misery)

[personal profile] theundertaken 2017-11-10 04:02 pm (UTC)(link)
Probably a magic knife.

[personal profile] playthedamncard 2017-11-10 04:08 pm (UTC)(link)
Why are you like this?
theundertaken: (checked out)

[personal profile] theundertaken 2017-11-10 04:09 pm (UTC)(link)
[Max just bursts into laughter.]

C’mon! You can totally have a magic knife!

[personal profile] playthedamncard 2017-11-10 04:15 pm (UTC)(link)
And here I was thinking of ritual sacrifices. Maybe it's a magical blood knife.
theundertaken: (extinct)

[personal profile] theundertaken 2017-11-10 04:16 pm (UTC)(link)
That is way better than anything I said.

[personal profile] playthedamncard 2017-11-10 04:34 pm (UTC)(link)
So then let me put it this way: I don't want to know what my supposed high priest in the Egyptian court past life was doing with a magical rod with a magical blood knife in it.
theundertaken: (defunct)

[personal profile] theundertaken 2017-11-10 04:36 pm (UTC)(link)
You know, you should’ve pulled some of this in for your D&D character, it’s pretty great.
playthedamncard: (better than you)

[personal profile] playthedamncard 2017-11-10 04:57 pm (UTC)(link)
He already has the magic ever-changing flame he speaks to to determine who he spares and who he kills; he does not need a magic blood knife. ...But at least he'd be proficient in it. I suppose I could ask if I can get that as loot next time.
theundertaken: (doomed)

[personal profile] theundertaken 2017-11-11 01:25 am (UTC)(link)
Half the fun of D&D is getting as much ridiculous stuff as possible. I mean, Father Fisticuffs got those Golden Thunder Gloves.
playthedamncard: (better than you)

[personal profile] playthedamncard 2017-11-11 12:15 pm (UTC)(link)
I still can't believe you made a punching owl priest.
theundertaken: (perished)

[personal profile] theundertaken 2017-11-11 04:51 pm (UTC)(link)
Who wouldn’t make a punching owl priest, though?
playthedamncard: (better than you)

[personal profile] playthedamncard 2017-11-11 04:56 pm (UTC)(link)
I at least played against type to play a cleric just because you chuckleheads are averse to healers.

It just happens to be a healer that also sets things on fire.
theundertaken: (departed)

[personal profile] theundertaken 2017-11-12 02:13 am (UTC)(link)
Hey, I feel like I played against type too! Who's the healer-player here?

But anyway, I made mine before most of you. That means you all had to balance it out.
