[The Champions have now been here for one week, and while the dud of a first incentive didn't tempt anybody, the fact remains obvious: a lack of murder isn't going to be the thing that gets you out of here.

Blaze Dudely and Rox have not made a reappearance since Tuesday, leaving you to your own devices for the moment. That door they entered and exited through remains locked, and there is no new area to access this week. Are you sure they're even still back there? Despite their absence, you all wake up on Sunday morning from strange dreams. What to make of it?

Yeah. She moved back to town, after...about five years of radio silence.

Well... I was trying to get money from this asshole who fucked with me, but the guy had a gun. Almost shot dead in a fuckin' school bathroom, can you believe it?

[ Almost, and yet... ...Chloe won't go into that right now. Still, she gently smiles. ]

But Max...she was hiding in there. She tripped the fire alarm before that shithead shot me. Didn't even realize who I was, but...well, we ran into each other after the guy was harassing her, and we put the rest together.

[That... does sound like orchestrated by nothing but destiny. To be in exactly that spot to save the friend she lost touch with so many years ago, what are the chances?]

That's a brave thing for her to do.

I forgot it's more common to have guns in America. I don't think I'd be able to move if I saw someone pointing one...

I'm not really used to people pointing guns at me, as much as they're all floating around all over the place. And Max... She barely sees those, probably. She's Super Max, that's for sure.

... [That's oddly cute. She's Max's champion, and Max is her hero?] It was good she was brave enough to do something when she did. [The alternative... doesn't bear thinking about, does it now? Huh? HUH?]

She's a regular everyday hero. I always knew she had it in her to do the amazing.
