[The Champions have now been here for one week, and while the dud of a first incentive didn't tempt anybody, the fact remains obvious: a lack of murder isn't going to be the thing that gets you out of here.

Blaze Dudely and Rox have not made a reappearance since Tuesday, leaving you to your own devices for the moment. That door they entered and exited through remains locked, and there is no new area to access this week. Are you sure they're even still back there? Despite their absence, you all wake up on Sunday morning from strange dreams. What to make of it?

You can only hope it's not a bad omen for the rest of the week.]

I think it's... supposed to be a weapon? I'm a bit nervous it'll charge me if I try to take it off.

Yes, I...I would be careful how I treated it. Particularly if it is so keen on attacking things...it is like it knows it has a weapon.

It doesn't move too quickly, so I think we can... probably dodge any attempts it makes at attacking. For now, until we know how to get the knife off it.

Maybe? It's difficult to tell on metal floors like this. It makes a fair bit of noise when it moves though, so it must be doing something.

Maybe pour some sugar on the floor and see if Ruri can hoover it up.

[Listen if we're gonna be mythbusters here, we have to be consistent.]

A good plan! It is not like we could cause ants in space, or anything.

Do we have sugar, or are we going to have gut a few MREs for the sugar packs?

Ah, I do not have any on me...oh! There is probably some over at the espresso bar that we could use.

That'd probably be easier! We don't need to use much to test.

[Karamatsu...eyes the roomba nervously before he runs off, though he trusts Miki to keep it from going after his cut-out again. He returns a handful of minutes later with a few sugar packets in hand, kneeling down so he can open up a few into a little pile on the floor.]

This should be enough.

[Look at this superman with his sugar seeking skills.]

[Miki crouches down to look at Ruri, who has been whirring around the cut-out, but not going for the ankles this time.]

Ruri-chan! Can you clean this up?

[There's a beep, and a whirrl, and then Ruri is speeding towards the sugar like a roomba on the mission. That sugar is going DOWN.]

he fell off the roof he might not be okay

Ah, look! There it goes!

[RURI'S GONNA MURDER THAT SUGAR]

RIP we guess.

[stillstands]

[GO, RURI. GO, RURI!

Once she's done running over it... the sugar is...

I guess that answers that question.

So...it is both a weapon and a vacuum, still. That is interesting.

[stillstands]

I'm not going to complain if it can pull double duty. Not that I actually want anyone's ankles to get stabbed... but it seems to have a mind of its own...

[She tears open another sugar packet, and walks backwards, trailing sugar on the ground as she goes. Ruri beeps, and follows. Like a baby duckling.]

[It's very effective...and weirdly cute.]

So what are you going to do with it? Just keep it with you?

[stillstands]

I don't seem to have much say in the matter.

[she hops to one side, suddenly and sharply and Ruri immediately spins and scoots after her, spinning around her ankles as she finds her balance again.]

Heh. Looks like you have found yourself a new friend, Miki-chan.

[stillstands]

But, um. It looks like you found one as well...? [How's your little cardboard buddy doing?] Sorry for the, uh, scare beforehand.

Oh, non non, it is alright. No harm done.

[Karamatsu pats the cardboard gently. Cardboard Karamatsu doesn't really have much to add, looks like.]

He is impressive, even I could not have anticipated receiving this.

[stillstands]

I don't think anyone would have anticipated this showing up, I'll be honest.

The craftsmanship is remarkable...and I do not remember posing for a photo, so whoever put this together has some talent.

[It's not creepy at all.]
