Week 2
[The Champions have now been here for one week, and while the dud of a first incentive didn't tempt anybody, the fact remains obvious: a lack of murder isn't going to be the thing that gets you out of here.
Blaze Dudely and Rox have not made a reappearance since Tuesday, leaving you to your own devices for the moment. That door they entered and exited through remains locked, and there is no new area to access this week. Are you sure they're even still back there? Despite their absence, you all wake up on Sunday morning from strange dreams. What to make of it?
You can only hope it's not a bad omen for the rest of the week.]
(( Don't forget to turn in your AC for Week 1, submit your memory regain, and turn in your Benefactor threads! ))
SLAMS IN HERE
Even if she looks like she hasn't slept.
Are you prepared for that?]

[Aw, wow, she looks terrible. Well, not terrible, because she's still Lady Lunafreya and she's perfect. But also, girl, no, are you okay?
Arms full of trident and dress, Prompto should look too ridiculous for such a concerned face.]
Are--are you okay?
no subject
Set that aside for now. Luna nods with a small smile.]
I am quite fine. Yesterday was a tiring day.... How did you come across these items?
no subject
Uh, the dress was in my elevator this morning. A-and the trident I found in the cafeteria, someone else brought it in. ...It's not bad luck for me to see the dress like this before the wedding, right? I'm not the groom, I'm just in his party.
no subject
She blinks, then laughs softly, shaking her head as she takes the dress from him.]
It is only bad luck to the groom if the bride is wearing the dress before their wedding day and he sees her.
no subject
Great. It's, you know. We don't need any more bad luck, huh?
[He sets the trident inside the door for her as well. Give to the Oracle what is due to the Oracle.]
If you're tired, can I get you anything? Food, water... Seriously, I'm at your disposal. Use me for whatever!
no subject
... [Prompto, why are you so good?] I do not have the stomach for food, and water does not sound very appealing either. [But coffee might be good...]
no subject
[He snaps his fingers--perhaps he's come up with a new recipeh?--but he at least has the sense to ask before he goes anywhere:]
Do you like chocolate?
no subject
Of course. I do not know anyone who dislikes chocolate.
no subject
[If his enthusiasm's put on, strained around the edges, it still means he genuinely wants to do his best for her. He jogs off--you know, in Chloe's tights and shorts, which may or may not be a new experience for Lunafreya Lifelong Prisoner of War Nox Fleuret, and then he's gone for a little while, and when he comes back:]
Two mugs of hot cocoa coming right up. With marshmallows!
[Even Prompto can heat water and throw a packet of powder in.]
no subject
As he requested, Luna stands in her door and waits for him to arrive, tilting her head.]
Marshmallows? [Look, she's royalty, her hot chocolate probably had other fancy things in it than marshmallows.]
no subject
[Niflheim REALLY IS THE WORST. How could they deprive a princess of such wonderful squishy goodness?]
They're... uh, these fluffy, sweet pillows. Kind of a light, squishy consistency, but they melt under heat so they'll be all nice and dissolved in your cocoa if you stir it. Here.
[He offers her one mug with a spoon in it.]
no subject
She takes the cup and gently stirs the concoction before taking a sip.]
It is so sweet! [She sounds... delighted?]
no subject
Isn't it? It's just the thing when you need a pick-me-up. Especially if you're tired or not feeling well.
[It's okay to admit it if you don't feel good, Luna. You don't have to be perfect in front of Prompto, he thinks you're perfect, anyway.]
no subject
... does Noctis like hot chocolate?
[And it's a habit to pretend she's okay. The Oracle is there to support the people, not be supported by them, when there's pain in the world.
no subject
Noct likes all kinds of sweet stuff. I've seen him eat cake for breakfast.
[The rightful King of Lucis, boys and girls.]
Man, there's this pastry he talks about... Ignis has been trying to get the recipe right for years, but Noct keeps telling him it's not quite the same. I don't get how he can be so picky when they all taste so good, but I guess the real thing must have left a really powerful impact on him.
no subject
[Noct, you are adorable.]
A pastry...? [Could it be...] Is it one that he ate in Tenebrae? Or somewhere else?
no subject
[He lights up with recognition.]
Yeah, Tenebrae! I think that's where he said he had it. Do you know about it, Lady Lunafreya?
no subject
no subject
[He transfers his cocoa to one hand and pats himself, looking for a pen, a marker, anything to write with, but he is a fool and has nothing.]
Uh, do you have anything I can write that down with? For Ignis, I mean. I'm not kidding, he's been working on this I think as long as I've known him.
no subject
[Sorry about that.] Perhaps someone else has paper?
