[The Champions have now been here for one week, and while the dud of a first incentive didn't tempt anybody, the fact remains obvious: a lack of murder isn't going to be the thing that gets you out of here.

Blaze Dudely and Rox have not made a reappearance since Tuesday, leaving you to your own devices for the moment. That door they entered and exited through remains locked, and there is no new area to access this week. Are you sure they're even still back there? Despite their absence, you all wake up on Sunday morning from strange dreams. What to make of it?

You can only hope it's not a bad omen for the rest of the week.]

Lucina's just. Looking between real Karamatsu and cardboard Karamatsu with...well, she's not sure what to call it.]

That's...quite the portrait. Did you receive that this morning?

I am impressed it fit in my dumbwaiter. It looks exactly like me, non?

It really does! But it's so flat instead of person-shaped.

Oh, well...unfortunately, it cannot do anything but reflect my handsome face. But it does make for a good stand-in in case I cannot be around for conversation!

He is a very good listener.

I would imagine listening would be one of his strengths. [He can't ignore you or go anywhere else, after all.] But then he couldn't speak as colorfully as you if someone asked him a question.

Oh...that is true, isn't it?

[Karamatsu looks up at the cardboard Karamatsu. He doesn't seem to have any commentary to add.]

I will just have to do the speaking for him, in that case!

[Karamatsu suddenly ducks behind the cardboard, a hand reaching up from behind to move it a little while he talks.]

I am doing quite well, Lucina-san! And yourself?

[There's a sudden, soft sound of surprise at the action, and Lucina blinks a bit before her mouth quirks up, and a hand covers it as she starts to laugh. It's not a loud, boisterous sound, but very soft and still sincerely amused.]

I'm...I am doing well! Thank you!

[karappo]

[Oh my god she's actually laughing, +1 for Karamatsu.

He grins and moves the cut-out again.]

Have you taken a moment to peruse my fine wares for trade?

I-I believe I will in a moment! I wanted to make sure you were well first!

Oh, that's very kind of you to say. Have you had any takers on your wares yet?

A few have had their eye on some things, but a couple I intend to keep...like that swimming pool.

[What is he going to do with it? God only knows.]

Oh? And what do you intend to do with the swimming pool?

[She still needs to ask.]

I am not entirely sure yet, but...Osomatsu saw it and mentioned having an idea for it, so I thought it be best to hang onto it for now.

[Uh oh.]

Perhaps if you had the chance to fill it with water, it would be...good to wash things in.

We are going to have to find a way to blow it up first. It did not come with a pump or anything, so...we are going to have to do it by hand.

[Which will suck.]

Really? That will take a considerable amount of air...perhaps filling it would require a group effort.

Most likely! But I am going to get my brother to help me, so it should make the work easier.

[Assuming he doesn't whine like a big baby about it.]

Here's hoping. For now, my room is actually becoming a bit crowded with things...I have never owned this many items, at least not such a huge variety of them. It is a bit surprising that we keep being just...given these things, non?

It is very strange. I don't even know the use for all of the objects I receive...it would be much better if I could have my things and be done with this strange gift-giving.

Agreed. As much as I do enjoy free things.

I just hope that whatever else of mine might be out there is in safe hands...I would hate for anything to happen to what little is truly mine.

Mm. I feel the same - there isn't much that belongs to me, but for what I have, I try to take very good care of it. To think Falchion or my diadem could have been thrown into a hold without any care...
