[The Champions have now been here for one week, and while the dud of a first incentive didn't tempt anybody, the fact remains obvious: a lack of murder isn't going to be the thing that gets you out of here.

Blaze Dudely and Rox have not made a reappearance since Tuesday, leaving you to your own devices for the moment. That door they entered and exited through remains locked, and there is no new area to access this week. Are you sure they're even still back there? Despite their absence, you all wake up on Sunday morning from strange dreams. What to make of it?

Me neither. ...Are there a lot of kinds of dragons in Ylisse?

Not particularly - the Manakete and the Earth Dragons are the two main kinds, though their power and appearance varies even within those distinctions.

What's the difference between them? I mean, I guess the Earth Dragons live underground?

[Lucina shakes her head, but there's a small, imperceptible smile on her face.]

That's not quite it. The Manakete are the dragons who chose to take on human forms and sealed their power into stones in order to retain their sense of self, and they have worked with and guided humanity for generations. The Earth Dragons...did not agree with that choice, and retained their form, slowly growing mad and cruel. They destroy civilizations and would see all people of the world killed, if allowed to have their way. [A pause.] Grima...is an Earth Dragon.

They just chose to lose their sense of self? That's insane!

They did so out of stubborn pride, I think. They...wanted to keep the hold they had on the world, as its greatest beings...not do what they considered lowering themselves to the appearance of humanity. Pride...makes a person do incredibly drastic things.
