Week 2
[The Champions have now been here for one week, and while the dud of a first incentive didn't tempt anybody, the fact remains obvious: a lack of murder isn't going to be the thing that gets you out of here.
Blaze Dudely and Rox have not made a reappearance since Tuesday, leaving you to your own devices for the moment. That door they entered and exited through remains locked, and there is no new area to access this week. Are you sure they're even still back there? Despite their absence, you all wake up on Sunday morning from strange dreams. What to make of it?
You can only hope it's not a bad omen for the rest of the week.]
(( Don't forget to turn in your AC for Week 1, submit your memory regain, and turn in your Benefactor threads! ))

I'll be all right. Stayed up pretty late seeing if I could catch a glimpse of our captors, but no-- [He covers a yawn.] --no such luck. Sorry. Tired.
[Time to sink further back into his chair.]
How are you?
no subject
It is rather curious that neither of our captors have shown their faces since they first introduced themselves. It does not bode well for any of us...
[Her eyes stray to her book as she thinks of what to say.]
I am a little tired myself. Nightmares. Though I am not the only one. I have seen glimpses of the others, and no one looks like they slept very well.
no subject
Anyway, Prompto freezes, then sits up once more, full of dread.]
...You, too?
no subject
Luna hesitatnly nods.]
Though... after what you told me our first day here, I do not believe it was a dream. It was a memory. [She puts her hands on her lap, wringing her hands together.] ....... I was there, Prompto, when King Regis fell.
no subject
O...oh.
[He's already talked about this with others: Zombina, Kaiba, Lucina. A memory. He can't--won't--gainsay Lunafreya, but he doesn't want to think about the implications, either.
It's just a dream.]
S-so you're getting your memory back, huh? That's... I'm sure that's a good sign. ...Sorry it ended up being... something that's probably so painful to remember.
[It hurt, seeing it from the outside. He can't imagine being there as it happened. He doesn't want to. He hesitates, then searches her face, full of concern.]
Are you okay?
no subject
There's not much to her expression, the usual serenity that most people know her for being presented. Her eyes are the only part that betray her, trouble and pain telling Prompto that she is anything but okay.]
I will be alright. I cannot undo the past, and knowing what will happen in the future makes it easier to bear... I worry more for the others among us. There might be some that cannot handle dreams such as this. We must do what we can to be supportive... Even if they are not my people, I can still fulfill the duties that are expected of the Oracle. [So back to business as usual. After she's had some time to really let the memory sink in.] At this time I can only offer condolences and words of comfort...
no subject
Lady Lunafreya, your words of comfort have probably never been more needed than we need them right now. [His smile's a little steadier, a little brighter.] There's no 'only' about anything you've got to offer, you know? You... you have no idea how many lives you've changed with a simple word.
[After a moment, he ducks his head shyly, chuckling as he retrieves his hand.]
Ehehe. I should know.
no subject
Thank you, Prompto. [Why suddenly so shy?] Oh? My words have helped you?
no subject
...Can you keep a secret? I mean... from Noct and the guys. I-I've never told anyone about this, actually.
no subject
Of course. I will not tell a soul.
no subject
...Do you remember the letter you wrote me, after Pryna came back to you all those years ago? Heh, man, I think that was literally half my lifetime ago.
[You know, if you wanted to feel old, Luna.]
You thanked me for helping her, and... for being Noct's friend.
no subject
I had sent her to Noctis, but it seems she was injured along the way. I feared she wouldn't return home. We were both lucky that you found her and took care of her.
no subject
[Awkward and stand-offish and different. Always different. Never like the others, always apart.]
But when you wrote me that letter, I--I decided I would be his friend, no matter what it took. So I started to change myself, and open up, and... and I have to thank you, Lady Lunafreya.
[It's a smaller, gentler, more genuine smile he offers her, this amazing woman who'd once been a girl worried for her dog.]
Because of you, I have one of--no. I have three of the best friends on the planet.
no subject
There's a welling of happiness in her chest as he continues his story. Luna can tell that Prompto was really happy about these chain of events, that when they were children she somehow affected someone enough to want to reach out to Noctis. She had always been worried that as the prince, no one would want to be friends with Noct, that they would use him. But here sat the boy, now a young man, who was everything she could hope for as a friend for her beloved.]
I am sure the three of them feel quite the same about you. Change can be hard, but you seem to have taken your past and made yourself stronger, and for that I am glad. Noctis is lucky to have someone like you beside him.
[She won't take credit for her words being the ones to cause this change. All she did was write a thank you, after all.]
no subject
You're damn right he is. --Oh! Crap!
[He slaps a hand over his mouth, horrified. He just swore in front of the Oracle.]
I mean, uh, you're... you're darn right, he... shoot.
[He lets his head hang, covering his face with both hands, burning red. CRITICAL FAIL.]
no subject
It is alright, Prompto. I have heard far worse since coming here.
no subject
Who swore in front of you? I'll beat 'em up and take their lunch money.
no subject
[But she's still laughing, because the image of Prompto shaking people down for lunch money is hilarious.]
no subject
It was Yuri, wasn't it. That little punk.
no subject
[She likes Yuri. He is nice to her.]

[It's a tired, hurt, but still hopeful little smile he offers her.]

A king can have a side to himself outside of court. [Meaning Noct only really has to behave while he's doing kingly things.]
