[The Champions have now been here for one week, and while the dud of a first incentive didn't tempt anybody, the fact remains obvious: a lack of murder isn't going to be the thing that gets you out of here.

Blaze Dudely and Rox have not made a reappearance since Tuesday, leaving you to your own devices for the moment. That door they entered and exited through remains locked, and there is no new area to access this week. Are you sure they're even still back there? Despite their absence, you all wake up on Sunday morning from strange dreams. What to make of it?

You're telling me you have people who can transform into dragons? Or...dragons that transform into people?

Yes - the second one is more accurate, but you can think of it as either distinction. One of my friends' mother is a Manakete, and she too can transform. [She points to a doodle of a green haired girl with a red cape.] Her name is Nah.

[I'm sure there's already a lot of jokes about Nah saying nah that exist in the world, but it's really tempting.] And this is inherent to their nature? To simply become a dragon? That's...astounding.

[There are so many, and Nah would literally break through the fourth wall to kick your ass for them, she's so over it.]

It is. Their power is kept sealed in special stones, so it doesn't wear on them - without that, they would become mindless and sick.

So they still retain their minds in either form, so long as they have the stones... Are there other beasts people can change into? [They'd be more boring of course cuz they're not dragons buuuuut...]

There are - but the Taguel are nearly extinct. [She them points to a doodle of a young man with bunny ears.] They turn into rabbits - very large ones, actually, larger than a grown man. My friend Yarne is one of the last.

What happened to them? War? [historically speaking this kinda shit is usually war]

No...it was through hunting and enslavement. My ancestors have always tried their best to fight for the rights of the Taguel, but...it has never worked out. [She looks a little somber at that. Really, it's kind of fucked up how things work out sometimes.]

[That's hella fucked up. Can people stop coming from surprisingly fucked up places? That'd be cool thanks.] Hunting other people, what, for sport, because they happen to look like beasts at times? Enslaving them for their differences? And this hasn't happened for the dragons?

It was - not on nearly as large a scale, but, I know Nah's mother had been in the hands of slavers before she met my father and joined his cause. [Lucina shakes her head.] It's not something humanity should ever be proud of, though. I know I am not.

Truly at times humanity is despicable, no matter the world, no matter the universe.

Sadly, you're right. [She lets out a little sigh. It would be nice if helping her friends' species were as easy as traveling through time.] And it isn't just other races. Man has his own inhumanity to man.

The history of my own world could show as much.

Fortunately, that doesn't mean give up trying to improve the world around you.

Mm, no, I agree. That's what my friends and I are trying to do, ultimately. [But her voice peters off a bit as she finishes her sentence. How much of a difference could she make, locked up and far beyond the stars of her homeland? Were her friends okay? Was her father still alive? Had Grima really...]

We're going to return. We'll work our way around the rules or die trying. [I mean that...is kind of the point, yeah.] To think otherwise is unacceptable. To lose is unacceptable.

We have to challenge the fate the Overseers want of us - we must. I'm not going to accept it.

[If you deny it's there then maybe it's not actually there!!!] Then none of us succumb to the temptation of rule seven. No matter how long it may take us, we must find another way out. Despite any...potential deadlines.

I'll admit, there's not much I understand about the ways we're being watched and monitored, so I don't know how much help I'll be in fighting back that way...but I'll do all I can to support the rest of us who do know.
