[The Champions have now been here for one week, and while the dud of a first incentive didn't tempt anybody, the fact remains obvious: a lack of murder isn't going to be the thing that gets you out of here.

Blaze Dudely and Rox have not made a reappearance since Tuesday, leaving you to your own devices for the moment. That door they entered and exited through remains locked, and there is no new area to access this week. Are you sure they're even still back there? Despite their absence, you all wake up on Sunday morning from strange dreams. What to make of it?

I did not do anything, exactly! I just...asked for them. And that man said I could not have them, and yet...

I honestly could not say...I am not going to complain about having my things returned to me, but my clothing is not the only thing I got back. I got quite a few other items in my dumbwaiter, like a pair of slippers and a deck of cards.

Eh? I have...why, do you think he would want them?

[Fortunately- or perhaps not, in Kaiba's case- the cards Karamatsu has are just a plain old deck of space cards.]

[Alas. Maybe he can paint little dragons on them.]

He was really interested in the card games available in the games room. I mean... really interested. He was describing a game back home - I think those were the cards he was looking for.

Do any of those cards have Egyptian text on? Like, Hieroglyphs.

Egyptian...no, I do not think so. All of the cards I have look like relatively normal suits to me. But I could always ask him to make sure.

Hmm. It might not be then, he was... [Uh.] very detailed about explaining the historical influences that inspired the card game. But it can't hurt to check.

[karappo]

[Karamatsu nods, filing that information away for later.]

Speaking of items and things...have any of your own turned up, Miki-chan?
