[The Champions have now been here for one week, and while the dud of a first incentive didn't tempt anybody, the fact remains obvious: a lack of murder isn't going to be the thing that gets you out of here.

Blaze Dudely and Rox have not made a reappearance since Tuesday, leaving you to your own devices for the moment. That door they entered and exited through remains locked, and there is no new area to access this week. Are you sure they're even still back there? Despite their absence, you all wake up on Sunday morning from strange dreams. What to make of it?

You can only hope it's not a bad omen for the rest of the week.]

It was in the dumbwaiter when I woke up this morning. You want some? I mean, it's, uh...kind of a lot.

...Karamatsu is probably not going to say no to drugs. Why? Because...well, he might not know Max incredibly well, but he wants to make a good impression. And in Karamatsu's mind, smoking is one of the cooler ways to ingest a drug if you're going to do it at all. So Karamatsu pulls the door shut behind him and comes a bit closer, doing his best not to walk right through some weed smoke.]

Ah- sure...I will have some.

Never smoked before?

[He doesn't seem to be rescinding the invitation, but he does sit up more, giving Karamatsu a little more focus.]

[karappo]

[...Karamatsu stares back at Max for a long moment, considering his response.]

...I have, of course!

[He hasn't. Not weed, anyway. Maybe he's smoked other things before? But...it's very likely he hasn't.]

[....................................he's high and this seems legit]

Okay, cool, here. [Have A Weed]

[Karamatsu moves to take a seat somewhere in the room, presumably on the edge of Max's bed if he doesn't mind, and he will smoke that weed he has acquired.

...well. He'll attempt to smoke. Because the thing is, Karamatsu is a lying liar who lies who hasn't smoked. His dad smokes tobacco but he's never actually tried, much less weed. So once the smoke gets into his lungs it burns, both in his mouth and throat and everywhere else.

Pardon him as he just coughs up his hopes and dreams for a minute, eyes watering as he holds his sleeve against the bridge of his nose.]

Ha, ohhhhhh my god dude! [Max sits up and reaches out to pat Karamatsu's back.] Easy, just give it a minute. Want some water? Wait, I don't have any water.

[karappo]

[This is terrible, why is Karamatsu being punished by the weed he's a good boy...

He appreciates the offer even if Max has no water, continuing to cough and hack until he can actually catch a breath again.]

A-...aghk...I am f-fine, do....do not worry...!

[Max laughs.] It's fine, dude, that happens to everybody! You've totally never really smoked weed before, huh?

[karappo]

[He could lie, but that would be worse at this point.]

Dude, it’s fine. The world’s not a fucking DARE video, I didn’t mean to like...peer pressure you.

[karappo]

Ah- no, that is not it at all, I promise.

[Karamatsu's just...real dumb.]

I have wanted to try, I just...have not had the opportunity before.

Is the drug scene different in Japan? I mean, Florida's just a hive of scum and villainy, I don't know anybody who didn't at least smoke a little as a teenager.

[karappo]

It is.

[Karamatsu takes a few more breaths to steady himself, coughing another couple times into his elbow.]

Tobacco is nothing new, but...one would be incredibly hard pressed to find drugs like this if not involved in more shady dealings.

[Like the yakuza.]

Oooooh. [Max winces.] Don’t smoke that, dude, you’ll get all kinds of nasty cancer.

[karappo]

Heh...do not worry, I do not plan to.

[Though...Karamatsu eyes The Weed.]

And this won't give it to you?

[theundertaken]

Naaaaah. People with cancer take it sometimes to help with the pain. I think...there's been studies, and it helps tumors sometimes? Anyway. Same stuff as anything, just don't get high and drive a motor vehicle or whatever.

[karappo]

I will keep that in mind for when I have a car.

[He...cautiously tries another drag. He's still going to cough- and he does- but it's not as violent as the first time.]

Why do you think this was given out to you? I am a bit surprised...not that I think it is a bad thing, but that they would not mind us smoking on a space craft, I guess.

Dunno. I'd think...I'd think they wouldn't want us chill. I'd think they'd want us anti-chill.

[He nods like this is a serious revelation.]

[karappo]

Anti-chill...

[He repeats that, leaning back a little on one hand. It would be a lot funnier if he could say it in english as opposed to whatever universal translator is working on them right now.]

I guess weed would make someone less likely to commit a murder.

You'd think, right? Helps us not, like...stress out about this.

[Not that the situation isn't worth stressing out about. That's why drugs would help.]

[karappo]

Heh...do you figure we might get more weed, then? Enough for all of us...

[Then maybe nobody would have to die.]

Maybe? Maybe. I hope so.

[Karamatsu will remember this when he gets weed the next time his dumbwaiter spits out items. He'll come running to Max's room all like....MAX-SAN I GOT WEED]

It is quite generous of you to be sharing it, regardless. You could just be keeping it to yourself.

It's a lot of weed, man. But, like...it's not fun smoking by yourself. Especially when everyone else suuuuuuper needs weed.
