week 4
[Four weeks in the Starfield Penitentiary and seven people have lost their lives to Blaze Dudely's cruel game. At some point the robots cleaned up the mess left behind and by Sunday the involved rooms (including the fridge) are all clean and free of blood. In fact there's no sign left of any of the deaths that have happened on the ship so far by at least the next day. The only physical signs that people are gone are the empty beds.
On Sunday morning, you may find that you're recovering a a few other things as well - both strange dreams and some new items.
In addition, there's a new set of doors at the end of the corridor, in the space between the infirmary and the exercise yard. Looks like you've got a new wing to explore.]

Come dinner time, a plate of various meats would be placed in the mess hall. Most of them were alien, but spiced well enough that perhaps one could simply pretend it was a familiar treat. Varric was also in the mess hall, reading a book, writing things down, and waiting for anyone that needed someone to talk to.]

Hell, he grants the meats a bigger reaction, one of his rare honest smiles tugging at his lips. But it doesn't take all of his focus; he ends up sitting opposite Varric, giving him an arched brow]
And what did you think of Captain Dudely's...motivator?

I don't trust it enough to take the bait, if that's what you're asking.

C'mon, Varric, gossip with him. You know you want to.]

Max, Oda and Cheryl seemed bothered by the motive. Oda told me later that he wasn't planning anything -- seemed more concerned about the others, but maybe that's misdirection?
What do you think?

If you were planning something, you would not tell someone. Considering little bothers him, the fact that this did at all is...surprising. But I suppose everyone has their pressure points.

Oh, those look pretty darn good. Are they for everyone, or...?

Too much? Or too little?

Better develop a mean streak, then. Anyhow, maybe... a little less.

Maybe not. I think we need a little softness in this place. A gentle touch helps more than you might think.

Point still stands. A lot of us are busy thinking about how we're going to get our revenge. Sometimes it's good to have someone thinking about how to keep us all together, or take care of us.
