week 4
[Four weeks in the Starfield Penitentiary and seven people have lost their lives to Blaze Dudely's cruel game. At some point the robots cleaned up the mess left behind and by Sunday the involved rooms (including the fridge) are all clean and free of blood. In fact there's no sign left of any of the deaths that have happened on the ship so far by at least the next day. The only physical signs that people are gone are the empty beds.
On Sunday morning, you may find that you're recovering a a few other things as well - both strange dreams and some new items.
In addition, there's a new set of doors at the end of the corridor, in the space between the infirmary and the exercise yard. Looks like you've got a new wing to explore.]

So here she is, testing spices she doesn't know to try and get it as close as possible. Along with a collection of berries she found in the greenhouse-- she's making a cake.
There are multiple, thin layers of cake held together with a pinkish frosting-- and some berries to garnish it on top. Considering what she had, it's already different from the one she was trying to imitate but forcing herself into research, the only stipulation was that it had to be a "fancy fruit cake". Which she thinks it is. Feel free to bother (or maybe help) her during the process.
Later, the cake gets delivered with a note-- well, it only has his name on it-- but it goes in front of cell 9.]

...Do you want help?
[The book happens to be So Lingers the Ocean. If Fukawa recognizes it, or her name on the cover.]
no subject
That would be... y-yes. I could--
[A h.]
That's...
[Yeah she recognizes it.]

Almost reminds me of a crepe cake. It looks good.

Y-you think so?

Do... you wanna try it?

Anyway. He ventures out here and there, and he's just coming back when he sees Fukawa. And the cake. Noctis blinks, looking to Fukawa, then the cake. ]
Is that for me?
no subject
No. [...] Yes.
[She holds the cake out.]
H-here, just take it.
[Fukawa isn't good at this kind of thing. She just... knew he was having a rough time so. Yeah.]

Whoah, are you making a cake? Cool.

[She seems to have the basics down though.]
Even I should be able to do this much. This thing [You know. The PIP. Her personal arch nemesis.] said that dumb king liked them, so...
[So she's trying to cheer him up.]

Morning, Fukawa. [She waves on her way to the fridge, only to pause and came back to this.]
Are you... making a cake?
no subject
[She'd wave awkwardly, but she has her hands full here.]
...y-yes.

Eventually, though, her goal became clear. And while Varric was no baker, he figured he could at least lend a hand.]
Tell me what to do, won't you, Scribbles?

SO, she starts out in the kitchen with a fancy cookbook in front of her, and she tries to make some of the simpler breakfast dishes in it that don't require too many weird spices. So, there's some scrambled and fried eggs for Basically Anyone, and then after the warm-up, she goes ahead and tries out a recipe for a strange (to her) dish called a quiche. And hey, it turns out pretty good! It's got bacon in it!
...
There's one for everyone, but then... she's gonna see if she can make a special one, too. For Reasons.
After that, she decides to spend most of the day in the greenhouse, where she's really obviously in a great mood as she tends to the plants and looks over them for anything out of sorts or any ripe fruits and veggies that she can harvest. She's got a Plan here, and is mostly going for things that look like they'd go well pickled or preserved somehow.]
kitchen
...y-you've certainly been busy.
[That's a lot of food.
...it smells really good, too.]
no subject
[she's actually in an extremely good mood for that reason.]
Well, I like doing this kind of stuff and keeping busy, so it's nice to be able to do that. Especially after last week.

Oh, hey, is that any good? I mean, it was pretty good to me, but I dunno how it's supposed to come off.

And in the end, after the various alterations done to it, that sexy Pikachu outfit has decidedly less pika.
