[Four people dead now - six, if you include the crew. Things have been a little rough on the Starfield Penitentiary this week. Blaze Dudely doesn't make a public reappearance during the weekend, so you've got a few days to yourselves to recover, though he's probably still sticking to his office hours if you really feel like going to see him. On Sunday morning, you may find that you're recovering a a few other things as well - both strange dreams and some new items.

In addition, there's a new set of doors at the end of the corridor, by that empty space where you'd been having your fight club. Looks like you've got a new wing to explore.]

Keep your feet the distance of your shoulders apart and lean forward slightly. [He pauses, trying to think of how to explain skating without sounding like an idiot.] It's like walking when you're drunk and trying to keep your balance.

I... see. [Apollo wasn't much for alcohol but--she slides her feet slightly.] Like a boat.

I guess that's one way to describe it. [He doesn't really know, he's not a huge boat person.] Do you sail often?

Not on the water. [She huffs a little.] Just a lesson from that forsaken island.

It's still sailing, even if it's in the air. [At least, you can use that verb.] Unless it's flying, I guess.

Of course it is. You use skyships to sail the skies. [Yes.] Water is a bit rougher to sail.

'[Don't try to bend too much. Stay in the center of the boat. Don't stand up in smaller ones--'] Not to mention the smell is better in the sky.

I think that's down to personal preference.

My, ah. My friend likes the smell of the ocean breeze, so he'd probably disagree with you.

Nothing is better than the dry scent of the wind coming off a desert.

I've never been to a desert, so I wouldn't know. [He shrugs.] But Magnus has a lot of love for the ocean. He's always taking me to the beach.

[There's an extreme fondness to Alec's voice that usually isn't there when he speaks.]

I had the misfortune of being born on the one island that had access to the ocean.

[Maybe there's just a little jealousy. Maybe she should have more pride in the place of her birth--] I can't say I have any love for it.

It's hard to love where you come from sometimes. I don't think I could ever live in Idris, but . . . it's where I'm from. It's what made me who I am.
