[Four people dead now - six, if you include the crew. Things have been a little rough on the Starfield Penitentiary this week. Blaze Dudely doesn't make a public reappearance during the weekend, so you've got a few days to yourselves to recover, though he's probably still sticking to his office hours if you really feel like going to see him. On Sunday morning, you may find that you're recovering a a few other things as well - both strange dreams and some new items.

In addition, there's a new set of doors at the end of the corridor, by that empty space where you'd been having your fight club. Looks like you've got a new wing to explore.]

[Oda will get a surprised look from Akande when the man sees what he's wearing - but no comment on it. Instead, he sees what he's doing, and-]

[If there's something decently small and solid nearby, Akande will absolutely use it, the table, and his own strength to do the job. If nothing else there's something in the kitchen, probably.]

When Akande gets it open, Oda gives him a small smile.]

I'd hope so. [damn right you're gonna share these with him he's not doing this for shits and giggles. he'll go ahead and open as many as Oda's willing to let him, but he's pretty much expecting a 50-50 split] These may need to last for some time.

Since this morning, even when I try to talk the way I do most of the time, for some reason, it always comes out in rhyme.

[Oda shuts his mouth as tightly as he can. Gives it a second or two. Opens it.]

And you're not doing it on purpose. [Just. 100% re-establishing that. He doesn't think Oda would but God Damn.] That is some conditioning.

No matter what I try, I've been doing this all day. If I find who did this, I have some words to say.

Oda doesn't know how to express that in rhyme without sounding considerably more ridiculous than he means the sentiment as, so he reaches for Akande's (biological) hand and gives it a squeeze.

[HE GOT U FAM. he seems a little surprised by the gesture, blinking down at the hand, then chuckles awkwardly]

I will, however, support a rhyme when you are done. [ONE-LINERS ARE IMPORTANT]

[Oda's smile widens a little more. He lets go of Akande's hand before it gets awkward too late and gives him a nod.

Akande is a good and supportive friend who is there in his time of need.]
