[With the sudden pirate takeover and the sudden, tragic deaths of the crew, the second week of the Starfield Penitentiary rehabilitation project is off to a rough start. After Price's call for parlay with the pirate captain, he was not seen for the remainder of Saturday but around 10 pm it is his calm but tense voice that makes the time announcement.

Buckle in, Champions, things are about to get bumpy.]

I can't quite be bothered with human technology, but those "robots" count as machinery, do they not? Even if we could get our hands on one, whoever does so is at risk of being punished through Rule 6-A, should they decide to tamper with it.

Though, if anyone is that willing to throw their life away, I'd rather they simply come to me instead, for the sake of providing me with a meal. Ka ka!

They're not an inherent part of the structure, so the rule might not apply. It's stated criteria covers "life-support systems and other functions of the penitentiary" - unless they fall under something akin to security now that they're here, they aren't technically vital to our continued survival.

And even if they do, "modify" in Rule 6-A is in quotation marks. Theoretically, you could make a case for whatever you intend on doing to get around it - but that would require Blaze-san to be... open to such things.

...He has a sense of humor. Warped as it may seem to some of you, that can be exploited. So long as it isn't clearly obvious how you are working against him, it might be possible to bend those rules. Especially if you make it seem that you are pursuing Rule 7.

If that's the loophole you're attempting to go for, I'd like to see how it goes over with that...rotund human in charge. To ask him directly would be all but spoiling the plan, assuming he doesn't already have ways of listening in on what we're saying without even being present. And even if it did go over without a hitch? Would taking over a single robot be all that useful, considering their number?

Asking him directly would be stupid. [ To put it bluntly. ] But as Akande-san says - twisting the truth if asked might work better.

And speaking of that. [ She tilts her head, thinking. ] It might help to know what makes these things tick in the long run. Furthermore, anything metallic or... mm, robotic, I suppose? Is in rather short supply around here. "For our own safety", supposedly. And I can think of several ways that might come in handy.

Ka ka! If you'd like for me to drain you completely and leave your body a husk on the floor, by all means, I can do that! However, that would be in violation of Rule 7! If you'd like, though, I could make you into my thrall, instead! You should be privileged to receive an offer like that! I haven't taken one in over 400 years, after all!

I-I've helped disable a robot before. One of the ones in my previous game. H-however we had to wait until there was a time and place we weren't being watched to do it. For that reason it might be smart to keep track of the security in different rooms here.

...Is there any point in which we aren't being watched? There's at least two people on this ship who're monitoring us: The Counselor and Blaze.

It might be hard to tell at first. We have to figure out where they're watching us from. Before, we were able to f-figure it out because the robots mysteriously stopped-- but we won't know unless we keep looking.

That's...waiting on the robots to act, though. We should try to search for the cameras ourselves, make our own map of some sort and plot out all the security points. At least that way we'll know if there's any privacy on this ship.

The level of technology here is awfully high. They might be difficult to find. Still... I don't think it would be a waste of time.

They won't stop us from investigating, so we should do exactly that.

...our Detective in Hope's Peak also kept making maps. That's probably why she was able to find a secret path to the trash disposal room.
