[From the Temerity, it's hard to say what exactly is happening down in the convention center, but it's clear that there's some shit going down. Crowds of fans are streaming out of the building to stand around the docking area, kept away from the entrances and exits by the police - including a Turian and a little dog - as well as Max, Lightning, and Finn. Some people, especially the press, are giving up and taking to their ships to flee.

Amid all the chaos, it's not hard to land, pick up your escaping friends, and flee. It's better to take off now, because Kip is keeping an eye on where the others' PIPs are pinging from. It seems they've been moved to a different part of the nebula.

You've got a few minutes to catch up before he can get you over there. So what the fuck, dudes?]

And then... someone came and tried to take us backstage. They said we'd won a random draw for something or other which is nice and convenient, isn't it? But before anything could happen, there was this... this huge commotion backstage and we managed to get away. Dad told us to run and he'd catch up with us, b--but...

There is way too much going on in her head and she's still shaking, still breathing hard, still mad among so many other emotions, so she just. And not, you know, strewn around haphazardly in the aftermath of a cracking psyche that can only take so much.

It is also painfully obvious to anybody who approaches that she is struggling to contain sobs. Oh, fuck.]

[When you trace the signal to its location, you'll find that they're pinging from inside a smaller, non-descript building on the edge of the nebula. It seems almost deliberately non-descript: no signs, no decoration or attempts at landscaping, and very few windows.

The docking station here is much smaller, but on the bright side, there also doesn't seem to be anybody outside. You should be fine parking in the back, behind a few of the larger vehicles here. At least, that's the best you can do.

How will you approach this?]

Try to park so they don't see us. If we can get the element of surprise here, we'll be able to act before they get the chance to counter.

The captured survivors will wake up in two cells, built into a tiny windowless room. Ardyn and the Doctor share one, while Church, Yurika, and Xander are together in the other. You can see each other, but you can't get out - there is a humming distortion in the air of the doorways, and you'll find that it feels entirely solid if you touch it.

There does not seem to be anyone else in here with you, but there's movement outside the only door.]

[Gods damn it he'd forgotten how pain felt to a human body. So the sharp ache in his leg and faint buzzing of electric discomfort was what brought Ardyn very suddenly back to consciousness, jolting upright into a sitting position and looking around half-panicked and trying to figure out what had happened. Part of him was screaming Angelgard, but after a few seconds he managed to catch up on who he was with and what that meant.]

[...Still, he may have pressed his back to a wall in clear view of the door all the same.]

[Team Furitan will not take very long to scout around the building. As stated before, it's not large. There are few windows, and what do exist are narrow and high off the ground. There is one other door, in the back of the building, but it is locked.

There is still no one visible outside, and there should be nothing stopping you from returning to make your report.]

[About five minutes after everyone else has left the ship, there is a faint sound from outside the door. It sounds like metal on metal.]

Jane stills at the sound, staring at the door. Is there any way to peek out to see who's there without, you know, opening the door? Like a window, or one of those little peep holes, or...would the ship have like, a camera that could show her what's out there?]

[The prisoners are held in two force-field-locked cells, one on each side of the room. There is a computer terminal near the back, as well as what looks like some kind of safe.]

[Arianna happens to recognize Ardyn first and runs for the cell with him and the Doctor in it, and collides face-first with the forcefield.]

[C.E.C.E. will sprint off ahead of the rest of the group, leading the way back to the Temerity. There's no convenient cloud of flour blocking the guards from chasing and shooting at you once you leave the lobby area, and stun bolts are flying through the air, but your spaceship is in sight. If you're quick, you should be able to make it back in.

As you go, you might notice Finn and Lightning standing around near the other ship in the area. They both seem to start shorting out simultaneously, one of them leaning up against the door panel. Judging from the smoke, that thing just got fried.

Once everyone is on the ship, you can take off and get going! The entire group is here, plus a mostly-total stranger standing in a corner, holding a cup of cocoa and looking like he's having several heart attacks at once.]

Lasers firing from them at the pursuing guards, as he reaches for anybody who's straggling and pulls them on board.
