Week 1

[With the introduction to the relationship experiment and their overseeing hosts done with, the Champions are left to their own devices to explore the first floor of the mansion as they please. Cece and Kip will pop-up every once in a while to chit-chat but for the most part they're somewhere inaccessible.

Each morning the Champions are awakened promptly at 7 am by PAL's even, almost laid back voice announcing the time and each evening at 10 pm to announce when the kitchen is closing for the night. Unlike the Overseers, he doesn't seem to be one much for conversation.

...Are. Are books really common, on Earth?

Me an my sister, we've got almost a whole wall in our livin room that's bookshelves. Bunch of our old school books, cook books, gosh almost 50 issues of Witch's Friend.

-not kidding, no. Any kind of paper is really rare, almost non-existent.

Then how- [She just stares at him because what on earth would you use if not paper? How do you read or communicate or-]

How in Morgana's name do you do anything without paper.

Mostly with datapads- uh, like the PIPs. But they're not actually attached to us. And you can use them to send and receive information, not just enter in notes.

WIth paper though- if you have to send information to lots of people, doesn't that use up a lot of it at once?

Well yeah it uses a lot but... we don't got anything like what you're talkin about. I've never seen anything like this before.
