Week 1

[With the introduction to the relationship experiment and their overseeing hosts done with, the Champions are left to their own devices to explore the first floor of the mansion as they please. Cece and Kip will pop-up every once in a while to chit-chat but for the most part they're somewhere inaccessible.

Each morning the Champions are awakened promptly at 7 am by PAL's even, almost laid back voice announcing the time and each evening at 10 pm to announce when the kitchen is closing for the night. Unlike the Overseers, he doesn't seem to be one much for conversation.

Coffee flavored syrup? I like the sound of that! Last season had a great big dedicated espresso bar with all kinds of flavors. I didn't get to try any, but it looked good! The power of product placement I guess.

Oh, whether we can get some? Uhhh, Iunno. I could ask Ceec to request some, probably.

Um... where is C-Cece-san anyway?

Maybe talking to the network? Has she not come down to hang out?

[shikosuki]

I haven't seen her... but maybe I just missed her.

I thought you both had disappeared though.

[theoverseen]

I guess we kind of did. We just wanted to give you all a chance to get settled in, check the place out, all that stuff.

[shikosuki]

[ he sighs, because that... checks out ] Makes sense, I guess. [ he grabs some bread because all he's really competent with is toast but he pauses for a moment ] ...Sorry, can I ask you another question?

[theoverseen]

Sure, go for it, buddy.

[shikosuki]

Why is it just me?

[theoverseen]

You mean... instead of all six of you?

[He sounds sympathetic. It must be hard to be alone after so long.]

It'd be kind of boring if you and your brothers took up about a third of the total, right?

[shikosuki]

[ He nods. It's been bugging him all week. ]

You think so? I would have thought it'd be more boring with only me.

[theoverseen]

Hey-hey, man, give yourself more credit than that. You don't need to be part of a unit to be special. You just gotta define yourself!

[shikosuki]

[ He frowns at that, and then mumbles dryly: ] That's what I've been trying to do. [ Ha. Ha ha. ] I'm not even that popular with our fans though. At least if you had two of us we would have brought the sibling dynamic to the cast. [ He still thinks this is just a parody gag overstaying its welcome but he'll go along with it being a whole other show entirely for now anyway. ]

I guess, but this whole thing's about bonding, and that kind of shipping just invites problems.

And hey, maybe you'll get new fans now that you're not being overshadowed.

...Okay, that's a fair point.

[ He has to admit the idea of actually being acknowledged for a change... actually doesn't sound half-bad ]

I guess a few weeks away from them can't hurt...
