Week 1

[With the introduction to the relationship experiment and their overseeing hosts done with, the Champions are left to their own devices to explore the first floor of the mansion as they please. Cece and Kip will pop-up every once in a while to chit-chat but for the most part they're somewhere inaccessible.

Each morning the Champions are awakened promptly at 7 am by PAL's even, almost laid back voice announcing the time and each evening at 10 pm to announce when the kitchen is closing for the night. Unlike the Overseers, he doesn't seem to be one much for conversation.

[She was going to slide into her favorite room, by far, and see if she could try to work on concentrating her way through some wandless spells that were more complex than stirring things or levitating.

And then that happened.

I miss my sister, too. [It's the only logical thing she could really get out of all that. Well and the whining thing but she figures reinforcing that will just embarrass him.]

Because the instant he realizes someone else witnessed that, especially such a pretty lady, he is incredibly embarrassed.

He yelps in surprise as he sits up, face red. ]

[She bites her lip, trying so hard not to laugh at his rather over the top horror.]

Can't really blame ya for just wanting to throw a tantrum. This place is all balled up.

[ He wants to curl up in a ball and die right now ]

[Then she gestures to the room as a whole with a grin.]

You mind some company? [And it's really too bad if you do because she's just going to be perching amongst a little nest of pillows now.]

[She's trying really hard not to laugh because that would definitely be taken wrong but he's adorable.]

He probably won't be as accepting of this whole, mangling of his name as Tani is.]

Choramastu? No. mazu? Mercy Lewis that end bit is hard. [Queenie you messed up the first part too.]

Ma-tsu. [ Yeah that doesn't help. ] Um... i-if it's too difficult you're free to shorten it if you want.

You sure you don't mind, honey?

[And then she tilts her head as though she only just realized something.]

I probably won't actually use it often...

I don't! Really! My brothers and I all have names like this anyway... Choromatsu, Osomatsu, Karamatsu... so I understand if it's easier to just cut the matsu off! Actually, the only nicknames I don't like are the ones they give me.

[ He's assuming his dislikes are why she's unsure, but so long as it's not something insulting (like... Fappymatsu...) he doesn't mind ]

Um, but if you don't think you'd use it, th-that's fine too...

Well if you're okay with Chora then I'll just stick to that.

Mostly though I call everyone "honey" or "sweetie"

I-I see... w-well, I don't mind that either! Haha...

[ Actually that's really cute... he is not used to being called stuff like that, not even with his own mom. ]

It's one of those thing I don't even realize I'm doin, usually.

Too many years lookin' after my sister I s'pose.

[Everyone should have pet names from someone. At least she doesn't call people pumpkin. Mom's love that one.]

Oh-- right, you mentioned her! So you have siblings too, huh?

Mmmm, yeah... just the two of us though. We're all we've got, 's part of the reason I've been so worried about her.

She's probably eating nothing but hot dogs.
