Week 1

[With the introduction to the relationship experiment and their overseeing hosts done with, the Champions are left to their own devices to explore the first floor of the mansion as they please. Cece and Kip will pop-up every once in a while to chit-chat but for the most part they're somewhere inaccessible.

Each morning the Champions are awakened promptly at 7 am by PAL's even, almost laid back voice announcing the time and each evening at 10 pm to announce when the kitchen is closing for the night. Unlike the Overseers, he doesn't seem to be one much for conversation.

I'm n-not sure yet. I-It's different from Yatski, which was m-mostly fields of trauben, a-and it's not the forests, either...

[ But it does provide some kind of work to keep her busy. And Mikaela probably likes them. ]

I-It's a fruit grown in Elphegort. A-And i-it's used to make wine.

[ I mean it's German-ish. And... Literally German for grapes. ]

Ohhhhhh. Okay.

Did you ever get to just eat the fruit right off the vine?

[desperateprayer]

N-Not really. I b-barely made enough to eat or afford the land fees...

[ She was underpaid for her work, sorry. ]

E-Eh!?

[ She doesn't understand. Is he... Offering her some? ]

Oh man, you haven't seen the fruit trees yet!

[He holds out his hand to her.]

Come on, it's over in this corner, let me show you.

[ She'll shake her head at the hand bit. Sorry, she's still not super good with touch. ]

[He lets his hand fall, and looks sad for a second.]

Oh... Okay. This way.

[He leads her over to a corner of the garden with several blooming trees, and trellises with grapevines climbing up the wall.

He picks an apple off of one of the trees and takes a huge bite.]

[ I'M SORRY KIP but she is very selective on being touched. You are not on her Safe People list yet. ]

...T-That's a lot of fruit...

[ Hm, she's gonna see if there's any native to Evillious or if they're all just generic. ]

[everything is Generic Earth Fruit. It's a little Garden-of-Eden-looking though]

[ She's going to grab a bunch of grapes from a vine, then, because that's probably what trauben are under a different name. Surprise, Evillious is a post-Earth planet. ]

...O-Oh... This... Looks a lot like trauben...

[ Gonna eat a few. ]

...T-This is... Not what I was expecting...

It's sweet, right?

[He takes another bite of the apple, and uses the collar of his shirt to wipe the juice from his mouth.]

[desperateprayer]

Y-Yeah. I can see why it makes a good wine.

[ Maybe if things improve, she can have some back home. ]

...U-Um. I do have another question. I-Is it... Possible to get sewing supplies? I... Would like more to do, so I... Thought I could take up making clothes for people.

[theoverseen]

Uh, I can check and see if there's a sewing room somewhere. There might be one on the other floors.

[desperateprayer]
